Ted Ginn traded to the 49ers

If Ginn could get his act right, could be a nice duo with Crabtree.

I'm surprised he only brought a 5th round pick.

He has elite speed, but horrible hands. Couldn't catch anything, and he was afraid to take a hit.

Still, he was a great guy. I wish him well with the 49ers.

Well damn I was kind of hoping they would keep him around but it's definetly going to be nice watching Michael Crabtree & Ted Ginn Jr. develope into veteran football players.

All good they need a decent kick/punt returner even if he doesn't cut out as a wide reciever.

Heres the NFL.com story posted.

I think he would make a good slot WR, but he for damn sure isnt a true #1.. just like some other guy in Dallas.

Are you implying that he was the supposed #1 like some other guy in Dallas?

Yes, Ginn caught everything at Ohio State, but then again all he did was run quick slants and turned them into 60 yard receptions against slow DBs or just run a 9 route.

Ginn showed flashes of being a number one, but suddenly had pussy hands.

They already said he's competing for the #3 WR Spot ( where i think it'd be best for him )

Crabtree will be getting double teams by mid season.

That's right. I was thinking it was Ginn Jr that went undrafted, and Bess that was taken ninth. Obviously, it's the other way around. Bess WAS clearly the #1 up until the Marshall deal.

When no one else has him in the top 25 and you REACH for him at #9 and he's be ineffective for 3 years, I'm surprised you could get a bag of broken hammers for him.

Hopefully Singletary will punch him in the fucking face every time he runs the wrong route or an imprecise route and he'll turn into something. If nothing else, as mentioned before, he can replace Rossum as the PR/KR.

so fuckin'

I'm not surprised at all. He hasn't looked that good since being drafted, always dropping passes and not being able to get separation for the corner's. Sure he made some good plays, but for a team looking for consistency, he hasn't been it. Why do you think they kept the majority of his role to kickoff and punt returns? He has never even started a full 16 games, and he only has like 7 TD's in his career so far(3 years). Oh, and he has fumbled something like 10 times as well.
