Mavs vs NJ

Believe it or not, the Nets have actually won 3 straight road games! Watch out Mavs! I say this is gonna be a close game. Whether it's high or low scoring depends on whether the Mavs have any centers tonight.

They broke that streak on Monday with a loss to Memphis. Come on guys, they're 7-56! If we lose to them, we deserve to lose!

Yep, several sources say they're both good to go tonight. Question is...when they're both healthy...who starts? Damp has been a rock for years, but there's no question what Haywood has done for this team. I think Damp would be a very solid backup.

I would stick with Haywood but individual matchups may dictate who starts. Haywood would probably start against the more athletic centers but Damp thru the years has faired pretty well guarding the more traditional centers like Shaq and Duncan

Meh, they will turn it around as the game progresses. They are starting to move the ball around more effectively on offense. I see a big run coming.

Ok...so Mavs were down by 18 in the first half...now NJ's lead is only 49-45. Momentum has definitely gone to Dallas now.

Damn! What should have been an easy game is being fought hard by the Nets with some help by the Mavs. Thank good for Kidd's 3's and some good scoring by "Hot" Rod and Butler.

This one is mostly in the books. Mavs up by 7 with under 30 seconds to go.

I say mostly because as a LONG time Mavs fan...I remember a game against the Utah Jazz back in the 80s where the Mavs had a 7 pt lead with 24 seconds left...and lost in regulation. It really was the perfect storm that night.

96-87...it's all over. Crazy that NJ had 33 points after one and only scored 54 the rest of the way.

Good hard fought win. When Dirk wasn't shooting well and the rest of the team was having trouble scoring, there defense helped them pull out there 13'th straight win.

you know the Nets might be the worse team in the win column, but i think they have more heart than some of these teams. Very impressed on how the Nets came out and played tonight. they have more heart than the knicks or the warriors in my opinion
