Yeah, here's a little blurb from the blog on DMN...
Mavericks guard Jason Terry is scheduled for surgery Friday to address facial injuries sustained in Wednesday's night's game vs. Minnesota. A timetable for his return will be released after the surgery is performed, the Mavericks said in a release.
Dallas hosts Sacramento on Friday.
Terry's left eye was nearly swollen shut after he took an inadvertent elbow to the face from the Timberwolves' Corey Brewer with a little over four minutes left in the third quarter, and he may have suffered a broken nose.
Terry was called for a foul on the play even though he wound up sprawled on his back with a bloody nose. Terry went to the locker room but returned after just three minutes. With cotton plugging his nose, he scored seven of his 26 points after sustaining the injury, helping the Mavericks hold on for a 112-109 win over the last-place Timberwolves.
