Mavs vs Hornets

I am going to beat mustang_marc to the punch and get the party started. First of a back to back tonight for Dallas. I have no idea if Butler or Chris Paul will play tonight but i see another mark in the win column.

The Mavs have been playing at such a high level lately that a letdown is probably inevitable. I am just hoping not tonight on the home court.

LOL at beat Marc to the punch. Butler should be in for tonight. Paul is out for a while after having had knee surgery. Should be an interesting game and I hope we beat them down tonight. Still bitter after the first round exit a couple of years back.

I'm sure you will enjoy those seats. I like all of the amenities of the Platinum level. Did you get Platinum parking as well?

Damn...this was a fast game for the first few mins...but the Mavs are just putting on a clinic right now...on a 19-4 run. This is hella fun to watch. Kidd is playing on another fucking level right now... Kidd had 10 pts 6 reb and 3 assists in the 1st quarter. Shouldn't be hard for him to grab another triple double at this pace. He only needs 4 more reb and 7 assists. That should be easy for him.

Mavs up 35-24.

Ok, so at this pace...Kidd might not get a triple double...they're up 47-26...and Kidd might not play the 4th Q. Ok, so I'm getting ahead of myself here a little but this is just crazy.

Oh, and ESPN is suckin' the Mavs nuts tonight. I think after knocking off the Lakers and doing what they did at Atlanta, they've sudden become the media darlings.

Kind of strange as well...counting the Lakers, Atlanta, and tonight's game...this is 3 straight games for the Mavs on ESPN. They're getting plenty of national exposure.

They may not need Kidd for heavy minutes tonight if this game continues to be a blowout

Still plenty of time in the 2'nd and they are already have over 50 points. I always prefer listening to the local crew for Mavs game over the national guys. I'll sometimes go as far as to put on the radio rather than listen to some of the national games simply because they talk to damn much and go way off subject alot of times. GO MAVS!

Shit! Mavs have squandered the lead. This is going to be a close one.

Wow that changed with the quickness! Looks like Dirk might save them though with that last shot in the paint.

I won't say it was pretty but a win is a win. What's that? 7 games in a row?

Wow...Nawlins made it close. I went to bed at halftime since it was a blowout and I had to get up early today. Didn't think it'd end like that, but the Mavs have blown a few big leads this year. Sucks they couldn't get a little more rest since they play again tonight on the road at Charlotte. A win is a win though, I'll take it!

Would have loved to see them blow the lead up to 30+ at the beginning of the 4th so they could rest some guys since we have Charlotte tonight, but I guess not. I guess it's hard to maintain focus when you're up that much. All I could think of is how we JUST did this to Atlanta and NOW it's gonna happen to US! Glad they held on for the win...

I started watching this game in the 3rd qtr and saw the Mavs score at 78... and it stayed there for an eternity. The Mavericks could not get a shot to go down no matter what they tried. It was insane. Boing, burng, Dallas rebound, boing, burng, NO grabs it and charges down the court for a quick bucket. Nawlins was playing their ass off, I cannot imagine how they were down by 25. In the game I saw, they were dominating Dallas. But the Mavericks got lucky and beat them, I'll take it.
