What happened last time he blew the NFC Championship Game with a stupid interception? He came back and missed the playoffs.

Go Farva!

I'm so glad he threw an INT to put that game into OT. I knew he would revert back to his old self, it was just a matter of when.

He'll be back after putting on his same old "dog and pony" show. He'll cry a few times for the camera's when he announces another retirement, then come back.

Not many QBs retire after having their career best statistics and getting their team to the conference championship game. I expect to see him next year.

He is playing some of the best football of his career. I don't see why he wont. He could also hold a record real soon as well.

The coin toss decided it because the Saint's wouldn't have stopped them, only the Viking's could stop themselves with another turnover. Manning has got to be licking his chops after watching the Saint's weak sauce secondary...did they borrow a local High School's secondary? Looked like it

Brett Favre will retire, then he will come back to steal another QBs job from under him.

The way he is playing he should come back IMO. It's got to be hard to retire after getting so close and losing like they did. Whatever he does no one can deny how great of a year he has had, and at his age it's even more incredible.

Our government needs our help, they have an addiction. Our government is addicted to our money. Since they always have our best interest at heart it's time we return the favor. We need to have an intervention, for the governments own good of course. It's just irresponsible for us to let people with a known money addiction continue to handle our money. Lets have an intervention now so we can help these sick individuals.

I think he'll retire within the next couple of weeks because the pain is still fresh from those hits he took from the Saints. Then in a couple of months, while sitting on his tractor, his alzheimers will kick in forcing him to forget about the pain, prompting him to announce his return yet again.

Favre tells Werder he's "highly unlikely" to play again
Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on January 25, 2010 10:31 AM ET
Brett Favre wasn't overly revealing about his plans after the game last night. At least not publicly.

Favre was more forthright with ESPN's Ed Werder, though, saying it was "highly unlikely" that he would play football again.

That comment matches what his teammates expect. FOX's Jay Glazer also reported that all of Favre's teammates expect him to retire.

We know that no one wants to hear about Favre's decision-making process on a daily basis. Even Favre knows it this time around, referring to the "eye-rolling" that will happen as he makes his decision.

So we'll try to keep these updates to a minimum. Try being the operative word.

If he were to retire, that means his last pass was an INT.

Reminds me of Roger Staubach. His last pass was an Illegal Forward Pass. It hit a lineman in the ass as he was avoiding being sacked in the end zone against the Eagles in a playoff game. I was there and it happened right in front of me.

And i think he will come back for one more year. especially since i believe he signed a 2 year contract so that part is taken care of.

If the Saints lose, he comes back. Not sure why I feel this way, but I do.

He'll come back, but I think he should walk away. He's made an ass of himself several times with his "I'm retiring BS". He's still got game, but it's time for him to move on.
