help me settle a $100 bet (jerry world related)

Ok, down here among houston texan fans this weekend. I was talking about how on 105.3 the fan about a month or two ago callers were calling in complaining about fans standing up and cheering at cowboy home games being asked to sit down and not cheer standing up and being loud. Not complying was resulting in ushers getting police officers to inform the standing/cheering fans to sit down or they would be asked to leave.

Well, these guys here say that is bullshit and ushers/cops would never ask fans standing/cheering/yelling at a pro sports game. He basically just said $100 bucks that didn't happen and is a bs story.

Well I know it was an issue b/c fans called into the 105.3 station during the jagger show one morning talking about how fans were being asked to leave for standing/cheering/yelling at the game.

Can anyone help me find a link to a story to validate this so I can collect on my bet? Hell jagger even asked jerry jones about it to which jerry denied it- even though over 20 callers called in saying they were asked to leave/sit down or observed this.

If they were drunk and out of control, sure. For cheering? No. It's possible people were asked to sit, if someone complained about you blocking the view. That happened to me a time or two at the old stadium (front row).

Your side of the story doesn't have all the details, I'm sure. Jerry himself, as well as lots of players asked fans to get loud and become the 12th man the latter half of the season.

I'm calling bullshit. I was at the first game at the new stadium and most of the people in the section below me(lower level) were standing and cheering most of the game, even when they were losing. I find it hard to believe people would be asked to stop standing and cheering unless they were obviously causing an alcohol induced disturbance to others.

well you are wrong. Ill find a link somewhere after some more digging. It wouldnt have been a 2 hour show segment, with multiple fans calling in being asked to sit down or be escorted out. Hell they even asked Jerry Jones live on the air the following week on his weekly radio show about it. Ill find something, just got to dig some more.

This is true, and is becoming status quo at stadiums across the country. No cursing, cutting off beer early, no standing (obstructing the view of other guests), picking on the other teams fans etc.

Sports fans have to be politically correct and family friendly now.

I'll try to find a link to a direct case of an ejection
