Injury reports

Here is the Cowboys injury report for today. Doesn't look like anything major but I'm slightly concerned about that running back situation. Sure Barber and Choice are likely to play but how much will they actually play. Fortunately that is only a depth issue since Felix Jones has been a stud. Hopefully he'll continue to be good to go..

Quote:
LB DeMarcus Ware - back/wrist (1/7) Once again, Ware played the game despite another minor injury that popped up last week. Ware has battled neck, back and wrist injuries all year, and missed a day of practice last week with a sore back. But it didn't force him from any action and Ware had another solid game against Philadelphia. He'll be monitored for all of his injuries, including a stress fracture in his foot and a fractured bone in his wrist, but it's likely Ware will be ready for action come Sunday.

RB Marion Barber - knee (1/7) Barber was limited in the Eagles game because of a knee injury that caused him to miss some practice time last week. Wade Phillips said Barber will be held out of Wednesday's practice but seemed encouraged that Barber will be ready to play against the Vikings. In two preseason trips to his home state of Minnesota, Barber has not played a down in his former college stadium. While he'll want to play, the Cowboys will have to be cautious with him. But that's basically what happened last week against the Eagles, as the Cowboys held him out for the last three quarters.

RB Tashard Choice - head (1/3) For the second straight game, Choice left and didn't return because of a hit to the head. This time, the Cowboys are not calling it a concussion, therefore Choice could and should be ready to play this week in Minnesota. Choice said he expects to play.

S Pat Watkins - sprained knee (12/13) While it appears Watkins will be able to return to practice this week after missing four games with a sprained PCL, it's not definite that he will indeed play this week against the Vikings. The Cowboys will have some decisions to make regarding the 45-man game day roster. Watkins has been wearing a knee brace in practice but said he feels comfortable enough to play.

OT Marc Colombo - ankle (11/15) Colombo played for the first time since the Nov. 15 Packers game, when he suffered a high-ankle sprain and broken tibia/fibula in his left leg. Colombo started the game and said he didn't have many problems in his return. There was some talk that backup Doug Free would get some playing time as well, but Colombo started and finished the game. He might be limited in practice just to be cautious, but it's likely he will be ready for another game this weekend in Minnesota.

Injured Reserve:
LB Brandon Williams (torn ACL)
LB Stephen Hodge (knee)

Non-Active PUP:
OL Robert Brewster (torn pectoral muscle)

I'm feeling MUCH better about the Saints chances this week. Just for the sake of comparison, here is the Injury Report for the Saints when the Cowboys beat them.

Apologies for the piss poor formatting.....
