Same as you, but I'm taking Baltimore over Indy. Indy lost 2 in a row and I think sitting their starters in week 16, added in with the bye, is gong to come back to haunt them. They're going to be rusty when it comes to moving the chains.

Hell they sat them in 15 and 16 and I hope it bites them in the ass. Hell the only reason why the Jets are in the play offs is because they Indy sat their starters in week 15, Jets had to win 2 in a row to get in and that was the first.

I'm all about sitting Starters when it's not necessary that they play, but week 15 or 16 is too early. You sit them too long, an they get out of that rythym. Indy has a history of starting to sit them too early. I also believe they have a history of 'one and done' in the playoffs, and I think the two are directly related.

After seeing the Ray Lewis interview after the Ravens game, I'm thinking Manning will be looking out that little ear-hole of his helmet most of the game.

IMO Indy can sit Manning for a month and he'll be fine. I hope the Ravens beat them, but who knows.

Man, I'd love to see Dallas have a shot at the Saints again, but I'd prefer to play AZ at home. I just like their chances against Arizona better. I think Dallas can pretty much shut AZ down. I just don't see the Saints pulling it out. They haven't won a game in 4 weeks. Dallas showed the whole world how to beat them, and now it's no secret. Although, I don't know that AZ can stop NO at all, after watching the lack of D yesterday.

First things first, Dallas needs to handle up in Minnesota. Get on the board early, and don't let up. You can't keep them within 7, and give Favre a chance. 9 times out of 10, he'll beat you that way. How many games did they score in the final seconds this year? 49ers was one, and there was another one a week or two ago.

While the Colts have amassed an amazing amount of regular season wins during the Manning era, they are only 7-8 in playoff games. They have an amazing six one-and-dones where they lost their first playoff game of a post season.

The Colts have constantly sat their starters, but particularly Manning the last game of the season many times and only once, in 2004, have the Colts won their first game of the playoffs. But that was with no bye in the first round, and it was against the same team (the Denver Broncos) they lost to that final week.

Manning has only reached the AFC Championship game TWICE in his storied career, losing to the Patriots in 2003 before winning the Super Bowl in 2006.

It is no coincidence that in both those seasons, Manning was forced to play that final week of the regular season, then the next week in the playoffs.

But this first year new coach Jim Caldwell (probably under the direction of President Bill Polian) went against what history has dictated to this franchise, that when Peyton plays late in the season, they win in the playoffs.

So what and the cowboys didn't win a playoff game in 13 years which is a fact but you had them to win saturday. The ravens wont shut down manning.

That's because they shut out the Eagles in Week 17. Pretty drastic difference there.

That being said, the Ravens secondary is suspect. The D-coord always has the safeties out of position. Manning could have a big day.

Well GB killed AZ in week 17 and looked at what happen. I'm just saying you can't go by facts or a game a week before. This is the nfl and you never know what might happen. I'm not saying the colts are going to kill the ravens but I wouldn't say they have a good chance of losing.

That's not a good comparison because Arizona had nothing to play for. They game in there with a vanilla game plan.

Colts - come on man, it's the friggin Colts we're talkin about here. B'more's D is definitely playing better but I see no way they win. I'm almost to the point that I would pull a Dungy...

Jets - Playing solid ball and very good defense. Curious to see how they do against a much better QB. I know I should be picking the Chargers but I really REALLY want to see a Jets / Colts rematch..

Cowboys - IMO, this is the hardest to pick. The Vikes lost their funk in the last game but I think Adrian Peterson is going to be a non factor. It rests on Farve's shoulders. If he becomes an interception machine (very possible with that Cowboys secondary and pass rush) then the Cowboys will stomp all over them. If he manages the game and takes care of the ball, then it will be tight...

Saints - Yes, I am a homer... But there is no reason for me to believe that Arizona is going to win. Unlike those three losses, the Saints now have their full secondary playing. Greg Williams is going to be a lot more willing to use the pass rush with Greer, Porter, and Sharper all playing. Green Bay was without Al Harris, and IMO he is the real difference maker for them. Warner will not have as easy of a time against the Saints. There is no reason to believe that the Saints Offense won't beat the living tar out of the Card's D...

He's right. Minnisota had already won their game against the Giants. That meant Arizona was locked in at the 4th seed. The Vikes and Eagles had to lose for them to get a Bye..

With the same token, the Philly Dallas game disproves the theory you and he seem to take.

I'll stick with history. Indy has sat Peyton 6 times in the final game (much less final 2-3 games). Only one of those times did they win their first playoff game....

Chargers. The Jets rookie QB is going to piss his pants in this big boy game.

Ravens. Colts shouldn't have pulled their starters in Wk 16 - they haven't won since, and won't win this one either.

Cowboys. Well fuck, I'm a homer, what do you expect?

Saints. They are going to absolutely PUNISH that pitiful Cardinals defense.

x2 on the picks. it's going to be a great weekend. colts will lose, badass2000gt will cry.

i do think the saints/cards game will be a bit closer. saints will probably have a slow start and their defense isn't great either. they will probably be playing from behind all game. i like kurt warner. i'd prefer arizona win, i'm sick of these new found saints fans (2) here at work but i think NO wins in the late 4th Q.

Cards vs Bolts in SB...unless Saints beat Cards, then it would be Boys vs Bolts. Either way, Bolts win SB this year.

2-0 and MIN & SD make it 4-0 Manana.

Our government needs our help, they have an addiction. Our government is addicted to our money. Since they always have our best interest at heart it's time we return the favor. We need to have an intervention, for the governments own good of course. It's just irresponsible for us to let people with a known money addiction continue to handle our money. Lets have an intervention now so we can help these sick individuals.

Peyton is a badass..

I took the Colts yesterday -6 but that Ray Lewis "helmet to helmet" is bullshit.. they are making the NFL soft. he went for the tackle, you cant really predict where his head is gonna be when he catches the ball.

But i'm 1-1 so far.
