LMAO I don't agree with the Leonard Davis choice, that is for sure. Gurode is solid, witten and Austin are somewhat no brainers.

Davis and Gurode got in on rep. There are better players in the NFC.

Not sure how McBriar didn't make it in.

So what do you guys think about them playing the Pro Bowl before the Super Bowl?

I think it is one of the most stupid things ever.

on a side note I think Marques Colston should be in the Pro Bowl. Glad to see Brandon Marshall is making his 2nd pro bowl without cutler!!!

You're implying the Cowboys will be in the Super Bowl? There's always one idiot.

Tell ya what. You can take your star and your boomer sooner and shove them up your ass.

I have to agree, how many of the players that are on the two teams that make the Super Bowl will actually play in the game for fear of getting hurt. Whoever thought of this idea was an idiot. I am sure it was a money thing!!

Yeah i forgot the main reason but I had posted a thread on this a loooooong time ago haha.

I honestly can't think of one single good reason as to why it's before the Super Bowl

Because not one person gives a flying fuck about the pro bowl the week after the superbowl. They are trying to get people to watch this shitty game.

The Super Bowl sure would be pretty shitty if a few of the key players got hurt.

I guess you guys are not aware of this. Players from any team that makes the NFC or AFC Championships will NOT play in the Pro Bowl. They still get the recognition and the paycheck but they don't play...

So if the Saints and Cowboys make the NFC Championship, none of their players will be made available to play in the ProBowl..

Also, the highest seeded team coaching staff that does not make it to their respective conference championship, will be the coaching staff for that conferences pro bowl team..

So there is NO risk of injury to Superbowl bound players..

Well, you showed you know as much about the Pro Bowl as you do about the rest of the NFL...Sgt Beavis already cleared it up for me so no need to repeat that.

Pro Bowlers on championship bound teams do still get their bonus for making it to the Pro Bowl without having to play in it. Another bonus/incentive to get to the bowl (as if winning the championship wasn't enough).
