So, with this loss, Dallas will just have to win 1 game to get into the playoffs.

That's what I understand, and apparently can win the division if they beat Philly here next week (if they win tonight).

Help me, guys. Is this correct or not?

If Atlanta loses, there's a chance Dallas could lose out and still make the wild card - Atlanta will be eliminated, and NY will have to beat Minnesota next week to tie Dallas' record (owning the tie breaker).

Philly is 1 game ahead of Dallas, so if Dallas wins today and/or Philly loses, Dallas would either be tied with or 1 game behind Philly; a win over Philly either puts them 1 game ahead or tied, but Dallas would have the tie breaker (beat them twice) and win the division.

Of course they should just win the last 2 games to avoid all the complicated scenarios.

Dallas wins one more and they are guaranteed a wild card. If they beat Philly next week (regardless of what happens with Philly vs Denver today), they win the division. They would harthe same record but Dallas would hold the tie breaker. If Philly loses today, and Dallas loses next week, I'm not sure what will happen.

A Dallas loss and a Philly win (this week or next) means Dallas doesn't win the division and Philly does.
