WTF Texas?

They are playing like shit on both side of the ball. Colorado came to play and Texas is looking forward to next week. Mack Brown better get on their asses and worry about this game.

They showed a stat where colorado has given up the most play 40 yards plus. All Texas is doing is short passes. Throw it fucking long.

Good call. This is why I wonder about Texas this year; they're inconsistent. Might be looking forward to OU, who knows.

Have you not been watching them this season? I wouldn't be surprised if they score 40+ unanswered points in the second half.

I don't know what it is but 2nd half UT and 1st half UT have been completely different beasts this year. At least they know how to adjust.

Um, sir, can they play the second half before you jinx them. And if you think that. Do a shot for everytime Texas scores.

Well, we're at 28 unanswered points. I figured the offense would come out better. Never thought the defense and special teams would be what pulls the win off. That cornerback that returned the int for a TD was fast as hell. You could see the white dude receiver behind him just getting smaller and smaller. Greatness.

O-line. Who was the doucher saying that it would be completely different with Bradford in the game? I think they owe me an apology. Although, I'm cool with knowing more about an offense than he is.

Somebody mentioned OU's performance today. I just remember somebody saying that if Bradford was in it would be totally different and OU would kick total ass.

They never really "got going." They never had a problem taking it down the field, they had red zone problems. How many times did they settle for a FG? Four?

4 is correct. I think both UT and OU had each other on their minds today- which is typical.

My point is that OU didn't have a choice but to keep their starters in because the game was never out of reach for Baylor until maybe the last score.

Dude it's baylor. They weren't exactly moving the ball well. But they also probably kept the starters in so they can get some kind of chemistry going since they have only played a half together all season with Bradford. I don't blame stoops doing that at all.

It probably would have been closer but that kid played his ass off this game. He had to with no running game to speak of. Baylor also shot themselves in the foot a ton with major penalties. It's going to be ugly next week for OU. With Bradford tweeking his knee today I hope he doesn't play next week he's liable to get hurt. Yes he did come back in but he cannot scramble unless that knee gets better.

I know it's Baylor but the final was 33-7 and OU scored with what 5 minutes left. OU could not punch it in and settled for field goals.

It's going to be one helluva game next week, for two reasons: 1) OU is a lot better team than their 3-2 record, and 2) UT is not as good as their 5-0 record.

I'm hoping UT struggled tonight because they were looking forward to next week, but I don't think so. The offense can look really out of sync at times, and it hasn't gotten much better. It will be interesting.

Bradford also gets to come back to a team whose leading receiver is now hurt. I think my 7 year old can catch better than some of those OU receivers. I think I saw at one point there were 11 drops? The o-line being so young doesn't help at all, but I didn't think losing his receivers would hurt the team so bad, but it became very evident this game. Bradford was a little rusty, but he was making some great throws, they just were not caught.
Bradford didn't look bad by any means. He's got a stupid good arm. Like I've said time and time before, the O-line will be what holds the team back this season. I think that next season, or maybe one more though, OU will be on top of the world. The QB that will be starting for them already got himself some good experience and showed he has what it takes. I am scared for UT over the next couple of years though. They might have a better running game, but what do they have at QB and receivers? Shipley is going to be missed. The guy is a punt return machine and is as dependable as Jason Witten when it comes to catching passes in tight coverage. Did you see the one handed catch he made with the corner holding one of his arms? Which was never called for some reason. It was crazy blatant. I usually miss penalties in real-time and saw that just barely paying attention from the kitchen.

Did you see the one handed catch he made with the corner holding one of his arms? Which was never called for some reason. It was crazy blatant. I usually miss penalties in real-time and saw that just barely paying attention from the kitchen.
Well supposely Gilbert was the #1 QB in the nation his senior year in high school and also Texas has one of the best reciver crews they had have in years. Only time will tell. I'm sure they will be fine. You were probably saying the samething 4 years ago with V. Young going pro.

I am scared for UT over the next couple of years though. They might have a better running game, but what do they have at QB and receivers? Shipley is going to be missed. The guy is a punt return machine and is as dependable as Jason Witten when it comes to catching passes in tight coverage. I don't even want to think about how bad UT will be next year...
