Curious to hear everybodys opinions on Lesnar vs Carwin, and who they think should replace coleman to fight tito.

Personally I am a little worried for Brock Lesnar's physical well being come 11/21/09

As far as Ortiz vs coleman goes, I never like to hear about a fighter getting injured but I am glad that tito will be getting a new opponent - hopefully somebody who is more than capable of kicking the shit out of him. Tito has the nerve to call coleman a pussy for dropping out due to injury when he himself no showed for a charity boxing match against dana white!! Can of worms here but I still would love to see Dana kick tito's ass!

Carwin by KO.
I think Tito should lean up and drop to 185 he walks around at about 215 when training anyway. I would like to see Tito fight Franklin.. It would be a decent matchup and a long night for TIto if he doesn't get the takedown. This will most likely not happen since Ace has a med suspension and no contact until late october anyway. I think James Irvin would be a good opponent for Tito a midlevel lhw that has explosive hands.

I need to stop betting with Silvercobra03 because I keep losing.

I hope Lesnar goes down. He's just not classy at all. He doesn't seem to respect the sport even though he tapped out on the ankle lock by Mir.

I really want somebody to knock his ass out, that way he's been beaten both ways. He depends so much on his size and so far it's worked out for him.

I'm still pissed that he's the "champ" with his limited experience. Most people go through a dozen-plus fights for a chance at the belt. He had what? Two? Three? One of which he lost!

Ain't gonna happen. Forrest isn't the same fighter he once was. Tito by TKO.

Unfortunately, Lesnar will beat Carwin by the only way he knows how to fight. Hold him down, a million rabbit punches waiting for the ref to stop it. Lesnar by gayness.

No one will beat Lesnar until he faces Fedor.

Forrest will kill Tito. I think that Forrest is just tired of the UFC. If he goes down, it's because he wants to.

I think that Carwin might be the only fight that isn't fueled by intimidation. I think Carwin will end Lesnar.

LOL, you're delusional. Forrest doesn't have KO power and he's not going to submit Tito. You're going to see Forrest on his back again getting pounded by elbows and his head bouncing off the mat over and over...again.

Name Forrest Griffin
Record 16 - 6 - 0 (Win - Loss - Draw)
Wins 3 (T)KOs ( 18.75 %)
7 Submissions ( 43.75 %)
6 Decisions ( 37.5 %)

Losses 4 (T)KOs ( 66.67 %)
2 Decisions ( 33.33 %)

Only actually KO's he has had was Edson Silva and Jeremy Horn back in 2003. He won't be able to out wrestle Tito and won't submit him.

Same as you, I fucking hate Lesnar, but the only chance that Carwin has of beating Lesnar is a lottery punch, which can happen, but Lesnar has the longer reach and is much faster with the takedowns. Lesnar will make quick work of Carwin.

Shrimp'n ain't easy....

Longer reach? Carwin is 2" taller than Lesnar...

Lesnar has explosive power. He's a big dude. He fights at what? 280?+

I just can't respect the guy. He's an ass. He's a big dude that is relying on that.

Just like Mir caught him by surprise with a submission, somebody will surprise him with a KO. There's always somebody better.

Tito is a has-been if I've ever seen one.

How is Tito a "has been"? The only losses he has had is to top tier fighters. He's also beaten some of of the best. He's been out due to back surgery and contract disputes. That in no way makes him a "has been".

LOL ok. If you don't like the guy, that's one thing. But calling him a has been is just ridiculous.

I am excited for the Forrest vs Tito fight. I am also very suprised the UFC would pit these fighters against one another at this stage in their careers both coming off back to back losses (if you dont count that gay draw with Rashad). This should be an exciting fight depending on which one of these fighters shows up.

As far as Tito being a has been he is until he proves that his back is healed. His striking is for sh!t and his takedowns have gotten weaker and weaker. He lost a lot of explosivness. If his back is healed he has just what it takes to beat a lot of guys at 205lbs.

Let me also say this. A lot of people discount Forrest i think its funny Shogun was ranked number one p4p when he fought Forrest, after the loss he dropped completly out of the top 10. Same thing with Rampage who was ranked number 5 p4p Forrest beats him and Rampage is out as well. he lost back to back against two of the most dangerous lhw out there. Not to mention the current p4p king A Silva. What would have happened if Forrest won? A Silva out of the p4p rankings?

I need to stop betting with Silvercobra03 because I keep losing.

I think Carwin is the only hope anyone has for 2 years. He has a tremendous amount of power, size and confidence. If anyone can get inside lesnar and HIT him, that's the guy. However, if he ends up on his back I think it's over.

Tito by TKO strikes end of round 2.

I also think Tito will take Forrest. I hope Carwin knocks the fuck out of Lesnar. If Lesnar lays on him it is over.

I gotta agree with you on this one. Carwin has a puncher's chance, but he's certainly not the guy to beat Lesnar. As much as I'd love to never see Brock Lesnar again, it's becoming a painful reality that he will certainly be the face of the UFC HW division until Fedor confronts him.

I know hes not in the UFC currently, but ya know who I would absofuckinglutely love to see fight brock lesnar- bobby lashley. Experience wise they might be evenly matched, size wise they are very close to even, strength wise lashley is most likely stronger.

On a side note, JKD you MUST remove the gina carano gif from your sig!!! ( it is making me take 3x longer to read thru any thread you post in! )
