Colts VS Fins

Romo take notes on how to play QB. First play 80 yards pass to Dallas Clark for TD. That's how you play QB.

There was nothing wrong with the Cowboys' run defense yesterday.

I really haven't seen most of the game cause I went to the gym. But it looks like it's been a good game. I can't believe the colts have had the ball for less then a quarter. And they are only down by 3. Great game.

Dolphins missed a FG earlier, and the Defense has allowed too many big plays. Colts haven't had the ball long because Dallas Clark has gashed them twice for huge yardage.

I don't know why anyone would hate Peyton Manning, his brother on the other hand is easy to dislike, but Peyton is just awesome.

I agree. He's an outstanding QB.

That said, it's interesting to look at his NFL career and see how it compares to Romo's career as starting QB for Dallas. Year for year, it makes a pretty good case for Romo.

It took Manning six full seasons to get a playoff win, and nine seasons to get to the Superbowl, with Romo throwing up better stats in their first couple of years, respectively. Peyton has thrown his share of interceptions as well, including six in one game, and four in another. Romo threw five against the Bills, but still managed to make some amazing plays in the clutch to get them the win in that game.

Manning has had good talent around him, and great coaching along the way. He's a future Hall of Famer, no doubt. He deserves nothing but credit.

I expect the comments from the Cowboy haters. I just wish the Cowboys fans would give Romo a break, and a little more time to prove himself.

Anyway, sorry for the thread hijack, but GO COWBOYS!!!!

I'm starting to like him a bit more now that his face isn't pasted all over my television set anymore in every other commercial.

On a side note, the Head and Shoulders commercials with Polomalu are pretty gay.

Why do you start a post about your favorite team by trashing Romo? I don't get why that is necessary. We get it, Peyton is an incredible QB, and Romo is still...well he is Romo. But since we are talking about Romo and trashing him and all, how about we discuss how he is having a better start to his career than Manning. Jluv speaks the truth.

Or maybe it is and I just utilize the DVR a bit more -- either way, my daily intake of Peyton Manning has dropped to pre-2005 levels, and that is a nice change of pace.

THIS.

And Peyton was a 1st round pick. Romo was not even drafted. He came into dallas as an undrafted free agent and made it to the practice squad. That makes an even better case for him. If it doesn't happen then this year, then next year or 2011 he's going to have a breakout season.

The only difference is that Peyton actually has a great arm to go with the "calm under pressure" while Eli is just adequate.

You know, someone else pointed this out to me. Who's to say he will or won't have a breakout season? This year, next year, or the year he retires? You don't know... All you can do is hope.
