My first question: Tight Ends

I didnt get to pick good tight ends. My one ok TE is Kellen Wonslow/TB and I need to decide on either John Carlson/Seahawks or Donald Lee /GB

Who and why?

edit: Brent Celek/Phil is also available
TIA

If Owen Daniels is available, I'd take him over the rest you posted.

My lineup is as follows.

K Warner - QB
M Turner - RB
W. Parker - RB
A. Johnson - W/T
A. Boldin - W/T
R. White - W/T

TEN - Defense
Tramon Williams - D Floater
T McGee - DB
A. Haynesworth - DL
N. Kaeding - K

Bench players are
Matt Schaub - QB
Braylon Edwards - W/T
Felix Jones - RB
Jericho Cotchery - W/T

Cotchery was a last minute pickup. I dropped Marshawn Lynch since he's suspended, to get him. Felix Jones was a 10th round pick, handn't been picked, so I couldn't pass on him that late.

Either you're in a keeper league or it's full of idiots. How the hell do you end up with Michael Turner (assuming he was a top 3 pick) and Andre Johnson (assuming it's a snake draft meaning you pick towards the end of the 2nd round. That isn't even mentioning how you ended up with both Roddy White and Anquan Boldin. Those guys should've been taken within a few picks of each other. There must be stupid people in your league. Your team should do well. Oh, and Felix in round 10 is a STEAL!

I'd go with Celek over the two you posted. If you can try to trade a couple of good players off the bench for a better TE.

Not a keeper league, but they want to turn it in to a keeper league. And yes, it's a snake draft. People drafted really weird this year. Favre went undrafted, which shocked me. In fact, Favre is still available. Roy Williams went undrafted as well. I took Turner @ #2, Johnson at my 2nd pick, and Boldin two picks later, and White was my 4th. Right after I drafted Johnson, someone drafted Fitzgerald, then people went in to a QB frenzy. I picked up Warner in like the 6th or 7th. In this league, I tend to fare better when I'm stacked at receiver, than stacked at RB, hence my early WR picks.

You know what's fucked, though? Even with that lineup (I'm starting Felix this week vs TB, over Parker @ Tennessee), I'm still predicted to lose to by 10ish points the lineup below this weekend.

A. Rodgers GB
Westbrook PHI
K. Smith - DET
L Fitzgerald ARI
P. Harvin MIN
D. Stanley STL (WHO?!?!?)

J. Elam -K
MIN - D
L. McKelvin
Danieal Manning
Justin Tuck

I don't put too much stock in to projections, because obviously I've got more than a few powerhouses, but that just doesn't make any sense.

Per ESPN's Week 1 rankings, I have the #5 QB, 3 top 10 receivers (B. Edwards is actually on the list @ #15, but he's on the bench as of now. still need to evaluate my WR matchups for the week), and two of the top 20 RBs.

They had Willie Parker in the top 20 RBs, but he's playing Tennessee's D. I've got him on the bench this week for that reason, but this list has me thinking twice.

Would you start F. Jones vs Tampa, or W. Parker vs Tennessee?

Your draft is very similiar to mine. I think I should do pretty well.

If it were me I would go with Felix vs Tampa.

Felix is going to blow up this year.

I want to play in any league where Marshawn Lynch is a free agent. The sleeper TE this year is Jermichael Finley, GB.

I'd be starting Cotchery over Gonzalez for sure. Especially this week. Cotchery is #1, he and Dirty Sanchez have chemistry, and Houston has absolutely NO secondary. Recipe for success.

I'd also likely start Walter over Ward, but it's too late for that. Walter is extremely underrated, and a solid sleeper.

lol I was actually thinking of dropping Cotchery to grab another RB.

Ward also gave me 18 points last night. He was only predicted for 10.

Yes. We give 1 point per completion and 1 point per 10 yards. 2 points per 100.

Fantasy update:
Well I am sitting @ 1-1-0 and have a tough apponent coming up. I could have won last week but I benched Carson and started J.Russel as QB. So i dropped J.Russel and picked up Chad Pennington. Yea yea i know his fantasy stats arent great but anybody is better than J. Russel( i just thought he would do good for some reason)

Here is my question: Who would you start @ QB week 3 Palmer against the Steel or Pennington vs San Diego???

P.S. I sucked ass picking QBs this year

Palmer vs Steelers.

I'm sitting at 0-2. Got killed in week 1, because none of my studs produced. Got beat by fucking 5 last week. If the Cowboys had been able to get the ball back after that goddamned field goal, I probably would have won. Or, even if they hadn't benched Warner in the third quarter, I could have won.

I'm predicted to lose this week, as well. I don't get it. Best team I've ever drafted, and I'm getting fucked. I think I'm just going to mail in the rest of the season. Fuck it.
