Bradford injuried

Bradford is out of the game. Speculation is maybe even the next two.

well i hope he isn't hurt too bad, it would be shame for the OU guys to have an out when the UT game comes around.

on a side note I made a joke at work to a few OU fans telling them that byu was going to destroy OU with all that Offense never knew they had a Defense. I can't wait for work on tuesday if BYU wins

That sucks. He's a good kid and a great player. Hopefully he's full speed for the UT game.

ok I want OU to lose but that last call was iffy at best and I am tired of this new "defense-less" wr hit I have seen 3 today and all three were good hits on wr that had their hands on the ball

Yea that sucks.
I would like everyone healthy when they play Texas.
That way there is no excuses when Texas wins.

*On a side note, BYU 14-13, with a little over 3 minutes left!!!!*

This would be interesting if Oklahoma loses.

I can't stand OU, but that was a questionable call.

OU may be done tonight. 14-13 with about a minute left, and BYU has the ball...

It's related to the state of Oklahoma. What else can I say?

My .02 on the injury. One, I hope for the kid's sake that he isn't hurt badly. From the standpoint of entering the draft or not, I hope he doesn't take another snap this season (he still has another year of eligibility). It furthers proves my point -- one I made after last season when calling out Pete Carroll when he dissed Mark Sanchez. Bradford would've been the 2nd or 3rd QB taken and a very high pick. He would've gotten paid. Yes, he can improve by coming back to school, but he runs the risk of getting injured and losing a HUGE payday. IMO, if the kids are pretty much assured their spot in the draft for millions of dollars, they should go.

That being said, I hope he recovers fully and is around for UT to smack him around some at the RRS (I refuse to call it the RRR).

Looks like the X-ray's are negative. Which is good, but it looks like he will miss 2-3 weeks at least.

Really, an MRI will be more conclusive. X-ray's are "OK" and good for bones, but MRI's work better on ligaments.

Unless they amputate his arm, he'll be there. I'm not buying it, but if it IS true, I'll take the fucking "cake walk".

Honestly from all the talk they really don't know much yet. However there is speculation that he could be out that amount of time. In which case if he can't play until then I'd sit out the rest of the year and that's one of ou's options at this point. Why risk further injury? My guess is landry jones is going to see some significant time this year. I just hope he shaves that cheasy Chester the molester moustache before the next game!

Unless ou can shore up the mistakes on the oline and put the guys in that can actually catch the ball it's going to be a LONG season much to texas' delight.

The O-line may be an issue for OU all season, and now, in hindsight, Bradford should have come out for the NFL draft. I didn't think he was ready, but now it could very well be a wasted year for him. I hate that he got hurt, because I feel like he would help push the Big 12 more to the forefront in the press.

It's a stage 2 or stage 3. The commentary I saw said that if it's a stage 2 then the recovery time is anyone's guess, but that a 6 week or longer recovery could certainly be the case. The reporter said that if it ends up stage 3 then it most likely requires surgery and he'd be out most if not all of the season. I really feel for the guy, hope it isn't too serious.

I had a stage 2 separation back in the stone-age ('70's) and they did NOT want to do surgery at all. I'm glad they didn't, but I still get stiff when the first cold snap hits, and I'm not talking about my "nether-regions" either...

From the OUInsider board, James Hale is reporting it, like ESPN, as a grade 3 sprain and he is going to see a Dr. Andrews in Birmingham tomorrow. It's up in the air right now, but BYU's Max Hall had the same grade of strain and was back in a week but they say that Sam won't be back that soon. Right now without having seen the Doc yet, they say Miami is the next game he will play in.

Idaho State
Tulsa
Bye Week
Miami

So that's four weeks to rehab.

I've separated both mine as well, they didn't give me a grade but said surgery would certainly make it right. Right now if I make the circular motion with either arm, you can hear all kinds of popping on the top of my shoulder........and I'm only 32.........it sucks.

It was a major deal back then. Pretty much everything is arthroscopic now. It's probably a day surgery now.
