Man what a good night for fights! Guy gets his arm broke nasty! (Steve Cantwell def. Razak Al-Hassan via TKO (armbar) - R1 (4:04)

A few good KO's too.

Mike Swick def. Jonathan Goulet via TKO (strikes) - R1 (0:33

Josh Koscheck def. Yoshiyuki Yoshida via KO - R1 (2:15)

Ben Saunders def. Brandon Wolff via TKO (strikes) - R1 (1:49)

All three of those were awesome!

yeah Koscheck put on a pretty damn good show...he seems to have humbled himself a bit and became a better striker at the same time. I recorded it and i'll prolly watch it again this weekend

It was a prelim fight. Not a chance of that being aired.

Yoshida got KTFO twice! He was already out after the first punch and when his body froze, Kost gave him one more just in case, he was really out after the second hit

And yes that broken arm was nasty

edit: that broken leg was even nastier, LOL @ JRogan yelling "STOP THE FIGHT, STOP THE FIGHT" HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! No shit, yuck!

That's the sport their in. They aren't in there to tackle and do ass slaps before the next play. They got into that sport to hurt people for competition.

How is it any different from someone saying in a pre-fight interview that they want to knock someone out an elbow, or make them submit? They go into a fight WANTING to lay out their opponent, or break something. Any fighter that says different is lying his ass off.

I didn't think that was cool of him to say at all. It was arrogant, completely unnecessary, and paints a bad image of the sport.

I thought those were $1.99 to view. I hate paying more for the HD PPV and still not getting the prelims.

I would imagine its really hard to keep your composure when you're in the UFC unless you're making buck. White pays low card people shit. Fucking going into a fight knowing you're going to make at the minimum $6000 and maybe $10k if you win isnt really grounds for good sportsmanship especially when they give out bonuses like "fight of the night" and "best knockout". Its so hypocritical when dana was bitching about EliteXC telling their dudes to stand up for more $$ with kimbo when he does the same shit albeit not as direct.

When they do promos, they really let them build up opposing heat. I'm surprised this doesn't happen more often.

You're full of shit. I train and the only thing I'm looking for is a win. Knockout, tapout, whatever. It doesn't matter to me. If you won't/don't tap? Your bad, but not everyone is out to maim or end another person's career.

breaking an arm = ending career?
Might want to tell that to Tim Silvia

While you're training to win, the other is training to kill you. We see how well that worked out for Rich Franklin. I love the guy, great fighter. . . but i don't think he has the desire to really hurt his opponent.

You only win by hurting your opponent. The stronger your desire to do that, the better a fighter you're going to be.

You have no idea what you're talking about. Some fighters are very much that way, and others are completely opposite. Not all injuries heal completely, and things like arm bars, heel hooks, etc can definitely end careers depending on damage done.
How many people has LeBanner knocked out with that left arm that he broke in the Hoost fight in 2002?

It wasn't a broken arm. It was dislocated.

But damn what a card for "free" TV! I sure as hell enjoyed this one.
