PacMan Jones: OUT FOR THE YEAR, MAYBE CAREER

DUDE, did you guys read the story that Adam Schefter just broke out?

Apparently PacMan fucked up his neck during the Pittsburgh game, when he fumbled a kickoff.

Quote:
The neck injury that Dallas cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones sustained at Pittsburgh is so serious, it has ended his 2009 season and could end his career, a league source said Wednesday.

When Jones suffered the injury Sunday, his body went numb for two full minutes. Jones spent the early part of this week visiting with neck specialists, who are sending him on to more neck specialists.

Jones will undergo further examination in the Dallas area, and also is trying to schedule another meeting with another neck specialist in North Carolina.

Those who know Jones say he is “definitely done for the year” and he could be done for his career, which would be a massive blow to Jones and another one to the Cowboys.

Damn, you have to wonder if this is a scam to get a buyout and guaranteed money.

Wade is on the ticket right now, he says that he's definitely out this Sunday, but the training staff feels that he might come back.

I thought the refs really did a poor job on that one.

Jones had muff the punt but recovered it. The sideline ref called it down but then they let every freakin' Steeler dog pile Pacman for a long time. None of the refs jumped in to help protect Jones.

I thought it was kinda sorry.

They were probably telling the world how they felt about that thug still being allowed to play in the NFL. Poetic justice!

He actually made a couple of really good plays on defense while in one-on-one coverage.

Who cares? Who do you think is going to replace him? Look at our injured list.

Not to mention he's a great CB. He led the team in deflections before his little ordeal with his bodyguard. He's a good player he just needs to mind his Ps and Qs.

How can he be done for the year? Didn't he play in the game after that fumble? It can't be that bad of a injury.

Right but if its a season ending injury and maybe a career ending injury why the hell was he back out on the field? Too me he wouldnt have come back. Hopefully he is ok cause he is still young and probably would have a great career if he stays out of trouble.

Adrenaline probably kept him going. If he fucked up some vertabrae or something in his neck, it would be hurting like hell while playing, but I would think you could make it through it. Then find out later exactly what happened (x rays), and if it's serious enough, could end your career.

Pacman practiced today, and per Wade Phillips, will be playing Saturday night. Not sure if he's going to start yet or not. I guess it will depend on how he fares in practice for the rest of the week.

The guy is a fucking moron, no doubt. But he's made a huge impact on this defense, whether anyone wants to recognize that or not. Keep in mind, I'm strictly talking defense here. He hasn't done shit for the return game, and I'll be the first to admit it.

Don't get me wrong he has helped the Cowboys defense a lot more than people realize. I just hate him.

it looks like the cowboys were getting about 15 yard returns from crayton sunday. pacman gets about 3 yards after 10 seconds of dancing. not to mention him going side to side results in holding + blocking in the back giving us and overall -7 yards.
