I agree, either team could get the nod. Being a OU fan I'm not going to rub it in if we do get to go because I wouldn't like it if UT fans rubbed it in if they go. Of course this is a sports thread....

Read an article where Leach is wanting the tie breaker to be the graduation rates of the 3 schools.....Seriously, I couldn't choose between UT and OU.

Mike Leach should probably shut the fuck up and shove a turkey leg in his fat fucking jowels. Kinda makes things interesting, knowing that Leach was hoping for a shot to head to one of the major programs. I bet getting blown out by 40+ in a crucial game like that just fucked him hardcore.

I am an OU fan. Went there for my undergrad degree and went to the sporting events as often as possible. I would love to see them get the nod for the Big 12 Conference Championship and move on to play whomever wins in the SEC. That being said, I will pull for the Horns if they get the edge. I think either one will represent the conference well. Same thing goes for the Heisman.

With the media loving UT this past weekend, my guess is that UT will get in.

UT has no chance. They gained a few votes in the Coaches Poll but OU should move ahead of UT in the computers. The Harris Poll should tell all but Texas would need at least 50 people to change their minds from OU to UT, but that probably won't happen. UT's only shot at the MNC game is if OU losses to Mizzou.

LOL yeah I seen that. That was classless and a act of desperation. I'll laugh at the people that spent their hard earned money for nothing if OU makes it in.

I think KU beating Mizzou will hurt UT in the computers. I think 50 people might have changed their mind if it wasn't A&M that UT beat on the last weekend. Good solid win but it was still A&M.

Though I go to OU, I'm a big 12 fan today, whatever that means. We are the two best teams in the country and we can all agree the bcs sucks.

I'm hoping for UT to get in, but it's going to be close.
if OU goes, then I want the BIG 12 to handle up and take care of business, EVEN if that means OU goes to the national title game.

I would love to see a UT vs FLA NCG

You are a moron...you can't EVER root for your most hated rival. I would rather see Michigan go 0-12 every season instead of them winning a bowl game or a BCS game etc, this rooting for you conference teams at the end of a season where you wish failure on them all year long is fucking retarded.

I didn't wish failure on them all year long. I grew up in Texas and many of my best friends go to UT. Just because there is a rivalry it doesn't mean I have to be an asshole and try to make it seem like Texas sucks, because they don't.

You are very wrong. There is no problem in rooting for your confrence, even if the team you are rooting for happens to be a rival. That was a stupid comment.

There is a huge problem rooting for your biggest rivals...

I like the effort, but your execution is pretty poor. So, I will try to dumb it down for you.

It's really sad, that all the Longhorn faithful can dish it out all season...but can't take it when it comes back around.

I disagree, I think when the polls came out last week that there was a different attitude on here from UT fans. To me it seemed like a lot of them expected to be jumped by OU. Thats just the feeling I got.

Lets just say I was really going to go cry in a corner, like many UT fans have been doing all day. Crying in a corner is actually the complete opposite of bitching and whining. Since you are e-stalking me, you probably also read where I was surprised that OU jumped Texas, which means I didn't think OU pulled it off, yet I didn't start bitching and whining about it, posing up a thread for all of the UT fans to laugh at OU fans in. I was prepared for the worst outcome, in fact, I expected it, yet, you never heard a peep out of me.

To do a complete 180, I haven't even rubbed it in. A few off hand comments and a kleenex picture to some whiners, sure, but me, nor other OU fans have gloated about it. Now when bcoop gets here, that is another story.
Then why are you being a asshole about it? I figure OU was going to jump Texas. Hell they beat OSU by 20. I was suprise there was doubts in minds of OU fans. Anyways I hope missouri gives OU one hell of a game and beats them.

You are right I dont understand and there is some shit about you probably dont understand. The only way the BCS works is when there is two undefeated teams at the end of the season. Other then that is bullshit. I know you dont want a playoff but it makes more sense then this bcs bullshit.

Hey looked who crawled back to the mic. I stated this thread stating that I felt OU had this wrapped up and was making a thread for all the OU nuthuggers to celebrate and . Please read the thread title again.

To answer your question, I feel like I did when I started this thread. I knew OU would jump UT in the polls and the 45-35 win by Texas that I attended must have been a figment of my imagination.

I do not think the BCS is the answer, but I do not think a playoff system, at least the ones I have seen talked about is the answer either.
