Vince Young's attitude in question

Quote:
These days, the most prominent questions about Vince Young are not about his health (The knee's fine, thank you) but about his attitude. Specifically, fans and those in the media keep noticing Young's conduct and body language on the sideline during games. He seems detached. He participates in pregame warm-ups then appears to retreat into his own little world after kickoff.

When the offense comes off the field, you see starter Kerry Collins huddling with offensive coordinator Mike Heimerdinger as they examine photos of the opposing defense that are transmitted from the press box to the sideline. No. 3 quarterback Chris Simms is an interested participant. Young? He's usually found several steps away, uninvolved. He either doesn't want to be part of the process or is not invited. And I seriously doubt it's the latter. This makes a strange situation even stranger. During practice sessions, Young works extensively with the second-team offense. Since returning to good health, he has been listed as the No. 2 quarterback on game day.

But even though he is just one snap away from being the Titans' quarterback again, he seems a million miles away during the game. At Titans Central, the party line remains that Young is merely doing what he should have been allowed to do as a rookie -- observe how a veteran quarterback conducts his business. But from the outside looking in, you must wonder if Young is maximizing this opportunity. Yes, looks can be deceiving, especially on TV, but Young certainly appears detached from this team.

Hey I wouldn't mind riding the bench for what they are paying him, but again I'm not Vince!

Vince Young will probably be traded.

Yeah, to a fucking mental institution. This is so great. He was all the UT nuthuggers' Messiah. Where's HookEm? What happened to God's gift to football? Where's your fucking savior now? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Ok, I'm entirely too thrilled about his failure.

After reading I thought Chris Simms was the #2 QB right now if something happens to Kerry. I always said Vince was actually holding back Tenn. I think he will be traded go to a bad team start as their QB throw 4 to 1 INT to TD be cut and never play again. Unless he can learn another position.

Hey I liked Vince when he was UT, but not to say he was the best thing since sliced bread! I like McCoy better b/c the guy plays as a complete QB... Vince is just another whiney black athelete that doesn't know when to shut up!

I hear that Vince is busy telling the last Heisman QB from OU how he likes his shoes shined.

Does UT have something in the water where they kick out emotionally draining Superstars?

They need to get Ricky Williams and Vince Young to play chess, with every piece being an anti-depressant that they can eat.
