Bengals Linebacker story

This was a good read on a former player for Bengals in the 80's. I can't believe how bad his knee is, its kinda sad. Didn't know who he was but I wish players today were more like him.

Man that's messed up. Why doesn't the NFL help out these Veterans more than what they do?

You ever read about the player that was so messed up he would open the oven in the kitchen and pee in it. Thats really sad. I can't remeber who he was but it was a big name guy from years ago. The NFL does take care of its players at least someone does. I know a guy that played for the Giants 20 years ago that gets a check every month from the NFL or someone because he walks with a limp. And he will get a check every month for the rest of his life.
