Anyone else see this shit? TX vs Okie State

TX is favored by 12.5. Are you fucking kidding me?

I mean, I know Texas is playing really really well right now and all, but SHIT! I think it's going to be a much closer game than that.

I think Texas pulls away by 2 TDs in the end, but the game will be much closer. That being said, I wouldn't put a wooden nickel on that.

With the game being in Austin, that's about right. I think it would be a much closer game in Stillwater.

we all thought Mizz would be a much closer game as well. UT is damn good(I hate saying that) & it's gonna take a lot to knock them off.

If UT hadn't taken Mizzou apart like they did, it would be a smaller spread. Honestly, I'm not so sure I'd take OSU and the points...

<---Not a huge UT fan, but after I saw them whip OU's ass, I watched OKST and Mizz play. It didn't even look like it was the same league as far as the athletes are concerned. Texas runs away with this this year.

I think this is the first statement i have ever agreed with you on. I think it will be a EXTREMELY close game but Texas will pull through at the end. Oklahoma State always gives a good game and they are not doing bad this year at all.

I would not want to play UT in Austin, no matter who I am. At this point in time, it's like trying to stop a runaway freight train...

Yeah, Okie State's D has looked impressive thus far. I don't know that Okie State will win, but I think they will keep it close.

There was no whipping of anyone's ass. Anyone with half a brain that watched that game, knows it was too close for comfort. It was much closer than the final score would lead you to believe. Best game of football (NFL included) that I've seen in a long time.

As a 'Horns fan, I wasn't comfortable until the 2:00 mark. Funny shit tends to happen in games of that caliber...

Scorewise, no. Physically, Texas whipped Oklahoma. Think back to the OU DTs and LBs standing with their hands on their sides/knees huffing for air, while the Texas D was still going balls out.

It was a helluva game, but Texas FINALLY physically dominated Oklahoma. Something that hasn't been seen in years.

I agree . . . this tu team looks more like a T E A M than the '05 team did. The '05 team relied on one guy to pull flying monkey's out his ass more than they should have. This team relies on each other, and it's proving itself out on the field.

In other news: Thousands of New Mexico Fathers are putting Texas soil under their sons crib.

Pass O
Okst - 52
Tex - 13

Rush O
Okst - 5
Tex - 28

Pass D
Okst - 77
Tex - 111

Rush D
Okst - 35
Tex 2

By the numbers. Okst is better at running then passing. Fortunately Texas is much better at stopping the run then the pass. Texas will shut down the run and force Okst to become one dimensional. Unfortunately it will not be Oksts strength. This will force some turnovers. Texas is up by 2 TDs going into the half. Okst never recovers. JMO.

Mainly '04, '05, and '07. The '04 game was probably the best game at DKR I've ever been to.

Seems some are confused on how lines are set and maintained.

The bookies just want the vig. They'll move the line up and down depending on where they get the most action...

Seems like -12.5 and -12.0 are getting them some good money at the moment. They just want the 10% vig.

My 401K is now a 400K (was 301K)

No shit. That's what scares me about this game. Ok St has a propensity to pour it on Texas early.

Possibly...but I don't see how OSU can keep Texas from scoring. If anything, it'll be a shootout. With UT scoring 45 and 56 against the likes of OU and Mizzou, a "goose-egg" at half-time is not likely at all. I still think this years' 'Horns team is a little different...

You might be surprised. Ok State always plays TX tough, and their D has looked pretty solid this year . I'm not saying they will keep TX scoreless, but it will be interesting.

They sure appear to be. They have surprised everyone this year, including all the TX fans.

By "different", the defense has really come on. I, for one, have been pleasantly surprised this year, and never really gave a thought to them even being ranked #1. So far, McCoy has made a huge difference. Can he keep this pace? We'll see...
