Should JJ fired Wade P.?

You know...easy going is ok. But being too laid back isn't a good way to lead.

Fired his ass right now...he doesn't need the $$$$$$$$$$...his dad Bum P. is too f8cking rich already.

It is a total waste seeing all of that talents go to no where.

The whole team needs a swift kick in the pants. Wade looked like a 4 year old that had their toy firetruck taken away.

Really. Thanks man.

If English isn't so stupid f*cking confusing...we (Cowboys) shouldn't have a fall-start on 4-n-1.

so tell me who is the leader(s) on the team now?

Wade is f*cking stupid for saying a playoff bye week is still count as a win...is this guy from Texas?

And yes, making some changes on the D...they look like 2nd string HS football.

I say fire him! I actually predicted after the loss last week, that if we sucked again this week, he'd be gone.

Replace him with Garrett since we all know it's coming anyway next year.

Back up for a minute. Garrett isn't free from blame, either.

You're right. The thing that bothers me about Wade though, is he's a "defensive" coach. Though Johnsons' ineptness put a ton of pressure on our defense today, I still think they've been way under expectations the last few games.
I don't know if Garrett is the answer or not, but some changes do need to be made.

I knew the day they hired Wade this would happen, he has done it before, twice. He is a good Defensive coach, not head coach.

They've done studies you know.... 60% of the time, it works every time

Granted, they need some motivation, but if getting your ass handed to you by a team with one win won't do it, they need to start firing players, not coaches.
Great theory, but money and contracts keep you from doing much off that at this point in time. As contracts come up, yes, but in the interim, they need to find some solutions to several problems.

If I were Jerry I would tell Wade for motivation purposes... lose another and you lose your job!

He's paying Garrett more than Wade... I think Garrett has reasons not to win this year b/c he wants the head coaching job.

Philips is 6-6 in his last twelve games. He needs to go. What the fuck is a coach there for? Stop mistakes and get the team motivated. Wade hasn't done either this year, going back to week 1.

I think they have come back down to earth this year and are showing their true colors and everyone is trying to blame the coaches. If it is the schemes they are running and the play selection, I could understand the coaches being at fault, but if is is lack of motivation and mistakes that are the problem, that falls soley on the players. If you play football for a living and can't get motivated to do your job once a week, you have a fucking problem. Not only that, if you have been playing football since 4th grade and can't have the discipline to eliminate most of the dumb mistakes, you have a fucking problem.

I agree with all of that. However, when you have a coach that gets up in post game press conferences and says "Guys, this team went 13-3 last year" it certainly isn't helping matters any. Last year doesn't fucking matter, stop bringing it up. What matters is the lack of production THIS year.

And yes, I realize Wade isn't the one out there making mistakes. But these guys have no motivation. No dangling carrot. Nothing. If you've got a soft ass coach, what consequences will you suffer when you make the same mistakes week in and week out? There's no fear. And as Norm would say, no sense of urgency. Norm's an idiot, but he's right on that.

I agree with this for the most part. These guys are pro's, and money is their main motivation. Sure, winning and losing is great, but their livelihood is based on performance, and they shouldn't rely on a coach for that. College? Yeah. High school ball? Yeah.

A coach IS responsible for preparation, though, and the Cowboys haven't looked "prepared" since about week 3 of the season. Fire Wade? You better have someone in the wings that's better, and I don't see it. Jerry will send a message this week, I'm sure.

I think part of the problem to add to the many problems is these players already got paid, have their millions so they really don't care if they win or lose. If they only got performance based pay I bet production and attitude would go up 10 fold.
