Brad Johnson is no slouch of a back up guys. The man has won a super bowl, and he's a good leader. Expect them to use Felix more though as long as his hamstring is okay.

EFF . . . the way that Offensive Line looked yesterday, Brad Johnson doesn't have a chance.

I

have never been that impressed with Romo. It seems when you need him most he falls apart and makes bad choices. I will be interested in seeing what his backup does.

You mean when we need the Oline the most they let him get pummeled? I dont care who you have behind center, if they are getting lite up, their performance will suffer.

Now you guys may actually appreciate Romo being in there once you see what its like without him. I hope I'm wrong and Johnson tears it up though.

Brad Johnson is a helluva QB. Maybe not the strongest arm, but a very Pennington like QB. They have to do something about Flozzell Adams. He's getting beat too often by speed guys. Strength to strength, he typically wins, but he's not fast enought to handle a fast guy.

I hope TO and Johnson make a good connection and Jerry Jones makes that call today to pick up the other Roy Williams. The season just might turn around completely.

you're right about adams, but columbo seems to be lost on that line. when its a 4 man defensive front and columbo is the open man, he always picks the wrong man to double.

It would be great if Johnson turns Romo into the next Bledsoe, but I don't see that happening while balls deep in the season.

Here's hoping we even make it to the playoffs. Damn O-line.

Brett Hull scored the winning goal in the Stanley Cup finals with a broken leg. Modano had a broken wrist and played every shift in every game.

Romo hurt his finger? Awww, poor baby. Cry me a damn river.

Fact is they looked HORRIBLE yesterday and the week before. Lots of reasons why, the O line, special teams, etc, etc.

I can't believe the four man down D line of the Cardinals ran over our O line, even on plays where Witten and sometimes Barber were also blocking. They didn't need to blitz to stop us. The whole thing was absolutely ridiculous.

No matter what happens, if we play anywhere close to where we did yesterday we will be lucky to make the playoffs, mainly because the back half of our schedule is a bitch. That's right, this is the easy time of year!!

And how many times will Henry and Pac man let themselves be beat at corner. Every damn time there they were, two steps behind. Totally ridiculous.

Tape that finger up, put the needle in it and go play football.

You think Staubach wouldn't man up and not play.

It's about money these days. Football players make MUCH more then when Staubach played and have more to gain/lose.

No Cowboys fan was ever talking about Super Bowls. The problem with other fans is that they associate ESPN and NFLN as the spoke person for all Cowboys fans and assume thats how we all feel.

As far as this situation oh well, Brad Johnson has won games and does not make many mistakes. If the O-Line could actual block Johnson might have a chance to make plays

The Boys have been VERY FORTUNATE with injuries the past few years. This is their first significant injury in over 3 years I'd guess.

Romo has looked like crap recently and is turning the ball over way too much. He had 2 fumbles yeaterday that didn't count against him. ONe overturned, one bounced back right to him. The play he broke his pinkie. This is the first time they will face real adversity in a long time.

My Eagles have missed McNabb for significant time and more recently THEIR best player in Westbrook. Now the BOYS get to finally see what it's like to play down one of their best players.

Johnson is a good back up. I think they'll still be competitive though.........

Man I heard cowboy fans before the preseason started that they will go to the superbowl. Im not saying the fans on this site but cowboy fans in general are saying that they shouldnt even play the regular season and just send the cowboys to tampa. What the fuck ever. Why should a team name the chokeboys go to the superbowl.

He wasnt filling shoes of Troy. He was filling the shoes of Q. Carter, Ryan leaf, Chad hutchingson (sp), Drew Bledsoe. So I guess he didnt have a big shoe to fill but alot of them.

He's much better than any of those...ask the Pro Bowl selection committee.

You guys think Romo is bad? Brad Johnson can't run fast enough to scatter his own turds. He will be a sitting duck with this offensive line.

I'm sure Romo would play with the needle if they wanted him too, but if affects his throwing ability, do you REALLY want him back there? I think not...

I guess you dont listen to espn radio on the micheal Irvin show or the randy galloway show. They had callers call in all the time before the season talking about the superbowl and how the cowboys were going to it. And two of my bowling teammates are season tickets holder and die hard cowboy fans and they said that they are going to the superbowl. Hell I got a 50 dollar bet with one of them. So yes they are out there. And any good teams will have fans say that their team will make it to the super bowl.
