It would be worth watching, but I don't know if it will be a badass fight. I'm a big Liddell fan, but I just don't know if he's got it in him anymore.

That's crazy. Chuck is still a great fighter and the fight with Anderson could go either way.

Just kinda seems that with his last few fights, he just hasn't been all there.

Maybe I'm confused, but I thought he only lost two (one to lose his title to Rampage and the other in a split decision with Jardine) and then came back and beat Wanderlei Silva in his last fight. Did I miss something?

Chuck has gotta be hungry for his title back. This fight wouldn't help him get there, would it? It could only hurt him if he lost, right? If that's the case, I don't see him taking it.

I do think he beat Wanderlei, but I didn't see that fight. I was referring more to his last two losses.

It was a good fight. They pounded on each other and neither would break. Chuck got a few more damaging punches in and a couple of takedowns, and took it (relatively) easy at the end because he knew he had it won. If there were another round it may have gone differently. But that's a big win against a tough dude!

I just think now that his game has been exposed not to go foward on Chuck and not to allow him to counterpunch.

This is a fight I'd love to see. I'm a Liddell fan but I agree with him having to work on his game. There were multiple times where he sorta got lucky when Wanderlei rocked him pretty good. Don't get me wrong, Chuck is a very tough guy but I think there are some little things he could work on. To me he tends to lose his balance and slip where he falls backwards too much, which they happened 3 or 4 times in the Silva fight. I'd also like to see him keep his hands up instead of dropping them as he tends to do. Either way he's still a great fighter and that would make a great fight.

Over five thousand years ago, Moses said to the children of Israel, "Pick up your shovel, mount your asses and camels, and I will lead you to the Promised Land." Nearly 75 years ago, Roosevelt said,"Lay down your shovels, sit on your asses, and light up a camel, this is the Promised Land." Now Obama has stolen your shovel..., taxed your asses, raised the price of camels and mortgaged the Promised Land!

Who jumped ship?

I never said he sucked. I never said he's a pussy. I still like the guy, but like I said I just don't think he's got it anymore.

I still like Parcells, but the game passed him by. It happens.

Start???

He was in How High, Cradle 2 the Grave, Bachelor Party Vegas, Blade: TV, The Death and Life of Bobby Z. As "characters

but also in a lot of stuff as Himself, like Drillbit Taylor, Entourage, etc...

Maybe not an "awesome" staring role like Randy tho

That was bullshit, by the way. Should have been unanimous.

The problem with Chuck's game is his weakness has finally been exposed, he has difficulty fighting coming forward. He prefers to counterpunch and wait for someone to run into his hands. Much like Matt Hughes, if Chuck doesn't find a way to further push his game, he's gonna get lost in the past.

Chuck has historically had a tough time with good strikers. He was in trouble early against both Mezger and Overeem until his chin and looping shots came through. We saw what Rampage did to him twice.

Most people have had an eye out for Chuck to get old fast in one of these fights, and we might have just seen it. Losses during the Jackson/Jardine/Silva stretch aren't so suprising, but this one figured to be the perfect matchup to get Chuck back on track. If Chuck isn't KOing wrestlers left and right anymore, what is there?

Those two weightclasses are just a clusterfuck in the UFC right now. I'm not sure if they have any sort of clear plan anywhere in there or they're just hoping things fall into place. Sorting out Franklin/Henderson/Marquardt would be interesting but I don't know where you go from there.

At least Chuck isn't going to be leapfrogging anyone for a title shot now. I think most of us can agree that's a good thing, unless your name is Dana White.

When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.

The last fight almost reminded me of a late Tyson bout. He just wasn't home. He's 38 now, he's been found out and I fully believe he is done with top tier fighters. Silva would dismantle him.
Maybe his intro music is a Tyson curse...
