Damn, wouldn't that just be some shit if the last pass he ever threw was a record-setting interception in overtime that cost his team the NFC Championship?

And Troy Aikman's last play was getting knocked the fuck out for his millionth concussion. I had to go all the way back to Troy to make a comparison, because I couldn't really think of any cowboys quarterbacks that were comparable. You know, ones that can win playoff games

Why wouldn't they make it back? They are the youngest team in the NFL, now with some playoff experience. Favre had a great season and will probably go into the offseason sure that he is coming back. I could see him playing a couple of more years, if the team stays fairly intact and continues to be competitive. If he comes out next year and lays a couple of eggs early, I could see them switching to Rogers and forcing him out, but other than that, I think he's back..

You'd have to go back even further to find a Cowboys quarterback that only won 1 Super Bowl in 17 years.

i dont get why everyone thinks that they can put romo down because hes lost two playoff games. hes been in the league a year and a half and we made it to the postseason for both seasons which is better than what we have been doing the previous years.

no one is really putting him down..im a die hard cowboys fan, and was before romo..but it just makes us fans feel miserable when they had the season they did, and get beat by a patched together football team...i love that we went postseason in his 2 seasons playing, but lost both times..i have full faith that with a little building of the secondary in the offseason, and either resigning Flozell Adams (along with teaching him to stay still) or getting a comperable replacement, we should be just fine...btw get rid of Julius Jones and bring in some fresh meat to help Marion the Barbarian!

Romo's #'s were damn near the same as Favre's. The Cowboy defense was a real culprit in the Giants game.

By the way...I've been WAY out of pocket the last week or so, due to my moving into a new house, and moving my office, too. What a friggin' mess. I have been VERY quiet about the Packer's meltdown and Favre's necessary retirement, though I see some fans are agreeing with that request.

Favre had one of the best seasons of his career, stat wise, so I would like to see him go out while hes still one of the best. Romo still has at least 10 seasons of his current production to even be compared to those three. Not going to happen.

I seem to remember a certain young QB in green and yellow who came to Texas Stadium and could barely complete a pass his first couple of years in the league as a starter, and now he is among the greatest to play the game. I think those of you selling Romo short this soon into his career need to tap the brake a little bit, and hold off a couple of years....

True he (Romo) has had 1 full year as a starter and people are all saying he wont win anything, come on . It took Peyton 9 seasons to win a superbowl, and Elway all the way until his last 2 seasons to win one. So all the experts come back in 9 years and we will see what he has or hasnt won.

I'll bet Romo wins in Green Bay before Favre wins in Dallas... and Favre has a 13 year head-start!

The Packers' meltdown isn't near what the Cowboys' was. Our wide recievers aren't crybaby, suck-ass pussies.

In reference to TO i like seeing him show emotions for his teammates. I'm not a Cowboys fan but thought it showed a lot of how he is forging a relationship with those he needs around him and finally getting the team aspect of the sport.

True. I really want him to get a ring. I guess its just because the Pack is used to being in and WINNING playoff games.

Funny story, Dallas is more familiar with the Lombardi Trophy than Green Bay, by about 5-to-1. And you can thank Favre for that one trophy, of course.
