Favre all the way!

In the end, I want to see GB and Chargers, with Chargers walking away with the win. But doubt it will happen.

The Pack. They have truly come through, as much as I dislike Favre. I think we'll see them play the Pats in a few weeks.

Thurston- sorry I couldn't take my lumps earlier. I drove my kid back to Austin, and listened to the game down and back.

Vertnut is the only guy on this forum that seems like a real cowboy fan. A real football fan. Dallas was the better team and flatass got beat. GB was in a huge hole yesterday and they came out of that with a determination that shows they can make it to the super bowl. Good luck next season.

maybe the ball will freeze in Grant's hands . He came back in a big way after those fumbles though. I kinda felt bad for yelling at the tv to put him on the bench.

I don't understand why everyone gives Vertnut a pass on being a "good" Cowboys fan yet rips on That_Is_My_El_Camino? Tony never says anything outrageous and insulting like bcoop yet gets lumped in with him because he is outspoken and posts more when it comes to the Cowboys.

I personally want the Chargers to win so that I don't have to hear ESPN choke on the Giants/Pats/Farves(Packers) cocks for the next month. I had to turn off the TV this morning while I was trying to read because it was so NY Giants centered.

Did ESPN even know that the Chargers won? They acknowledged that Peyton lost, but never that the Chargers won that fucking game. San Diego went out and took the lead in the fourth and held on for the win.

Just for the record - He went 17 of 32, for 153 yards in the first game in which he had to play in the bitter cold. 0 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.

Favre might have been the "King of the Frozen Tundra" in his hayday, but his age is showing.

As for my comments about GB's no run game - see below.

High rushing in week 1 vs Philly - Jackson 40 yards.
High rushing in week 2 vs NYG - Wynn 50 yards.
High rushing in week 3 vs SD - Jackson 22 yards.
High rushing in week 4 vs Minn - Wynn 20 yards.
High rushing in week 5 vs Chi - Wynn 78 yards.
High rushing in week 6 vs Was - Wynn 37 yards.
Week 7 was a bye.
Week 8 is when GB found a rushing game in Ryan Grant.

See you hillbilly fucktard, I have stats to back up what I said. What do you have? Not a goddamn thing.

Damn I love this poll! Here is a few "predictions" I thought were funny.

ESPN.com on Brett Favre: Brett Favre is the biggest problem here. [...] Mike McCarthy would love to see what Aaron Rogers can do [...] but Favre has handcuffed the entire organization by refusing to quit. He forces passes, he can't move around like her used to and he'll be a sitting duck because they have no proven running back. And McCarthy can't bench Favre without looking like a jerk.

(My comments: When are all these idiots out there going to realize that Packer fans WANT Brett Favre for as long as the man can play? Even before this year, none of us felt like he was holding our team hostage - there's no one else we'd rather have out there. I don't think there's any team out there whose fans love their QB more than Packer fans.)

-----

www.footballlocks.com: Overall we're predicting a record of (4-12) for the Packers in 2007, which could potentially be enough to take second place in the NFC North.

------

Team Most Likely To Fall Short Of Its PFP Projection (PFP is a system that projects season records)

"Ben Riley: Green Bay. The projection system must have access to some of da kine stuff, because there’s no way Green Bay is winning 9.5 games. Or 7.5 games."
"
Michael David Smith: Green Bay. I have a bad feeling that Brett Favre is going to be really bad this year."

"Tim Gerheim: Green Bay. I don’t buy the defense being strong enough to carry this offense toward 10 wins. The running game , “led” by Vernand Morency, smacks of the 2005 Cardinals."

And my personal favorite:

"Vince Verhei: Green Bay. Do you realize that according to the projection system, the Packers are not only going to win the division, but get the number TWO seed, a first-round bye and a home playoff game? Yeah, none of that is happening."

The cold was not the main factor in that game, it was the wind. It was blowing so hard that there was a negative wind chill. Oh yeah, the Packers are still in the playoffs if I recall.

The discussion today where people are saying Eli is better than Rivers and Romo signals that the bi-annual ESPN "Eli Manning has figured it out" bukkake party is in full swing.

Eli should have at least three turnovers in this game.
