Did Brett Favre wuss out?

It didnt seem like he really took a hit to the hand. He looked like he just said "Screw this. Been there, done that, got a closet full of t-shirts."

His demeanor on the sideline didnt look like he was hurt....just that he was done with getting his arse handed to him, throwing picks, and basically playing another Favre @ TX Stadium signature game.

Heh, maybe he realized the best way for him to help his team win is to sit this one out.

It's pretty hard to convict someone of that attitude after starting 250+ games in a row. It's not like throwing interceptions would keep him out of a game, he's got a pretty short memory on all of that. He's probably hurt and wants to give his team the best chance to win...don't see that as him having a "fuck-it" attitude.

I dunno...I could be wrong.

It just seemed like he just said "to hell with this." He just does not play well at TX Stadium. Pwn3d by the crown?
Purely psychological? I dunno.

I know that Aaron Rogers looks like a friggin all star, some how.

He was hurt. He was also 5/14 for 56 yds. 2 INT's, and a QB rating of 8.9 Rodgers actually scared me...he went to their basic game plan, and it was working.

The same goes for Dallas at Lambo the Cowboys suck there. I think you are way off base on this one Bryce. I feel Farve has proven himself over and over, if he comes out of the game due to injury then he is injured.

You're a fucking moron. Yeah, any QB can play with a seperated shoulder. It wasn't just his elbow for Christ's sake.

no shit. the interview on NFL network with Adam Schein said it was a pinched nerve and a slight dislocation of the left shoulder.

A friend was sitting two rows behind the Packers bench, and when we met back in the parking lot for halftime beers, he told us what was going on.... Which (at the time) was more than anyone watching the game on tv could tell us. I'm kinda shocked at how well Aaron Rodgers played. Seems they would have been better off starting him from the get go.

No way. Anyone who can call themselves a true fan of football (not just the Cowboys) would know better. Of course he was really hurt. Could he have kept playing? Possibly - but at what cost? It's not like he was helping them win even before he was hurt, and there is no reason to do anything that would keep him sidelined even longer.

Oh, and he's not an "iron man". Typically, "iron man" refers to a player that plays on both sides of the ball, at least that's what it means in all of the football circles I've ever been in. He's a tough OLD bastard, though. The Boys sure had his number last night!

TX Stadium is just a house of Horrors for Favre.

Eh, I don't know. There's no doubt that Favre is a badass. To question that he faked an injury, is pretty hilarious. But to question him as a QB, not necessarily. The dude's a fucking machine, for sure. However, I've always had mixed feelings on Favre. Yes, he makes things happen. However, his interceptions are always a big 'Devil's Advocate' point..... Not saying I don't like the guy, or that I'm questioning his ability. You just have to take the bad with the good. Count on him to throw 3-4 td's per game. But you can also count on 3ish interceptions per game from him. Last night was proof positive. He was just making terrible reads, and was not dealing with the pressure very well.
