WTF? All of the initial reports I read, said it was the groin. What the fuck are they trying to cover it up for?

He could've been banging someone else, and his wife busted him.

Quote:
Taylor has been in trouble numerous times since he was drafted as the No. 5 overall pick in 2004. He has been fined at least seven times during his professional career for late hits and other infractions, including a $17,000 penalty for spitting in the face of Tampa Bay running back Michael Pittman during a playoff game in January 2006. He also was fined $25,000 for skipping a mandatory rookie symposium shortly after he was drafted.

In 2005, Taylor was accused of brandishing a gun at a man and repeatedly hitting him during a fight that broke out after Taylor and some friends went looking for the people who had allegedly stolen his all-terrain vehicles.

Taylor reached a deal with prosecutors last year after they agreed to drop felony charges against him. He pleaded no contest to two misdemeanors in the assault case and was sentenced to 18 months probation. The pleas prompted another fine from the NFL but kept his football career intact.

How is he a troubled athlete again......? The only past stuff that even came out on him was far from being troubling and in-humane. Wow...He skipped a mandatory rookie symposium.....thats a big no-no. I doubt seriously that the gay ass symposium was on the "TO DO LIST" for him after coming into alot of money. Thats saying that he didn't have a legitimate reason for not being there. Then the man confronted a thief that stole his car and beat his ass. He then got sued by the said thief for medical care and wages lost from being hospitalized. The only thing he did wrong was that he had a gun on him and waived it to the punk ass thief. Sounds like justice was served to me. He should have shot the faggot. As far as the Illegal hits and the fines that come with them are concerned, they are pussyfied efforts by the NFL to protect unprotected players. I can see it from both ends....but I say let em play. They are here for our entertainment after all. If spitting in another nigga's face is wrong then by all means throw the book at him and hang his ass. I mean really.....who hasn't wanted to spit in somebody's face before??

He apparently has a shady past, despite his successes on the football field.

Sounds like he was trying to get his act together though. Sad story...

He didn't make it. I saw this morning that he passed. That's a sad story on so many fronts. 24 is damn young. Some young people on this site need to take notes about who you run with. Not preaching, just want you aware of what/who is around you.
As bad as he may have been, it sounds like his family is really torn up. Especially his dad.

When they announced his death, reports also said it was a robbery attempt.

His 18 month probabtion was what he received for beating down and brandishing a gun to the thief that stole his SUV. You all need to read and quit jumping to conclusions. This is why he avoided the media in the first place.....people put words in his mouth and created a twisted perception of him. GET A CLUE!

Yeah, he was completely and totally innocent. GET A CLUE! Trouble only surrounds people that attract it. Folks don't run around, live a perfect life, violate no laws, and wind up on probation and later dead. You're a product of your environment, and if you find yourself in situations such as his, you are likely to blame. Period.

Relax.

The media per usual, can be unreliable depending on the source.

He was a great athlete. It is sad that he died.

Gun violence is becoming way too prevalent in Professional sports.

So was Owen Wilson.

I heard something about it on the radio this morning. It could have been an accident or it could have been some dumb mistake.

I think the you are a product of your environment is bullshit. You are an individual, you have a brain you can make your own decisions. I know of plenty of people that came out of "the hood" that are doctors, lawyers, etc. If the hood is all you know, be a man and learn to be civil. I did. It will get you a lot further than being stubborn and shooting your dick off. RIP.

You are right that it doesn't stop because you get money, unless you change your life, which it appears he was well into the process of doing. The problem is once they get money they do become more of a target. From seeing some of your past posts, if I remember correctly, you had a past that could be frowned upon (just as 99% of society does) but over came it and came out stronger. IMO a young man's life was taken for what appears to be nothing. He was at home in bed and someone from outside came in with a gun. That is different than living by the gun and dieing by the gun. Keep in mind I am not personally attacking you, just think it can be looked at differently.

So....let me get this right. He is a thug....excuse me....he was a thug living by the gun? What information do you base your opinions from? Does this mean that every athlete was a thug before they came into money and the money only contributed to their elite thug status?? I am lost as to just what in the fuck you are trying to say.

bcoop you have to be one of the biggest tools to ever troll this board....I almost feel sorry for your stupid ass. I take that back.....I have no remorse.
