id like to see that mad man go to work without a salary cap.

with that being said i doubt the owner will sell to him in all honesty, he's a head job and the cubs havent had one of those since caray.

and i would like to see how long pinella would last there with cuban crying and whining about every blown out call or every strike thats called a ball.

You can say alot about Cuban, but you can't deny that he turned the Mavericks arround, and when they win a championship, it will all be worth it. Sure he's a little crazy, a littl out of control, but if he's what it takes to turn the Cubs back into a winning organization, then I'm sure the fans would be all for it.

He's already tried to buy his home-town Pirates, but they simply told him 'Not For Sale' so I guess he felt trying to buy the Cubs would be the next best thing.

I don't think it will happen because the MLB owners have to vote on it and they are all a bunch of tight-assed stiffs who are rarely involved on a day-to-day basis, save for a few. They don't want someone like Cuban being there because he simply wouldn't 'fit in'. However, if anyone was going to take the Cubs from loveable losers to WS Champions, Cuban would be the guy to do it because the Mavs were complete shit whenever he bought them.

Personally, I'd rather see him buy the Rangers from Hicks because Hicks is more interested in money than winning.
