Anyone else on the trade Texiera bandwagon?

Coincidence the Rangers are playing better with him out? It's hard to say. It's apparent the Rangers have guys in there who want to be here. His stock is still relatively high even though he's been on the DL.
I say trade his whiney ass.

Yep, toss Tex and Blalock and try to pick up some decent pitching.

Not me. How many times have they traded good players and how often has it helped them get to where they need to be? I say keep him and roll the dice. In the beginning of the season, had they played then like they're playing now, they'd lead the division. If they play like this now, imagine what'd they'd do with everybody healthy.

he's gone and so is blalock... and no, it's no coincidence.

Tex will be gone because he'll draw to much through free agency and the rangers won't match it. so he's gone.

Detroit is rich in pitching... they are the team i would be contacting if i was Daniels.

Scott Boras is his agent so he will get top dollar as a free agent. Trade him while you can otherwise you are left with nothing after next year.

Texeiria and Gagne and others maybe to Detroit for Andrew Miller (stud prospect) and Shawn Casey, plus others maybe. Tigers might want to unload Casey to rid the salary, plus he wont play if Tex is there. Texieria would like it there, because Pudge, Rogers and (former ranger prospects Craig Monroe and Marcus Thames play in Detroit.

Heres another one to ponder:

Tex to Baltimore for Eric Beddard and/or Jeremy Guthrie (those will be the main guys in the trade, others may be included) Texeiria wants to go there anyway.

Thinking back, Id keep Blalock for now, hes hurt and the value is lower and plus Im not sure the 3B the Rangers have in there now, Metcalf, is ready offensively, Defensively he can pick it, but he had some good plays over the weekend..

Gagne may go to the tigers

Lofton maybe to someone for a pitching prospect, or package with Gagne

I doubt any trades will happen until between july 26 and july 31

I was hoping something would happen before the All Star break.
