Generic office sports talk

Is there a bigger kick in the crotch? I'm currently listening to 2 water-cooler sports fans talk about Kevin Durant (one person called him Acie Law) and about how he'll probably get involved in drugs and guns like most NBA stars. Then in a meeting this morning, someone made a Rangers joke, then someone said "I heard they're winning now". I wanted to kill myself. Why are sports loosely thrown around in coversation like the weather or something? I can't wait for football season so I can hear more about T.O.

Working in banking I get that shit a lot. I just kinda shake my head and agree with them. Yet I laugh my ass off inside because I realize that I know better than that!

The only thing I get kicked in the crotch with is Nascar talk . . . there's no more of a beating than rednecks who argue about drivers.
