completely different.....you'll see no recourse. He was clapping to mock the official. Ole Joey had no idea what Duncan was laughing at on the bench 2 minutes after a controversial foul call.....he did that sh!t cause he could

Mavs dismantled the Warriors in the 3rd period and early 4th, but GS just knocked off a 7-0 run to make this a game again. Dallas needs to knock them the F*** out!

Mavs win, and I think they got to GS a little tonight...got in their heads a little. GS may win a game at home, but I think this is over in 6.

Good win for the Mavs. Definately a better shooting night tonight as they actually drove to the basket tonight and got fouled along with it.

Dallas could be up 2-0 had Avery not let Nellie dictate how the Mavs would play instead of the other way around.

These next two games are going to be pretty tough because that Oakland crowd is going to be pumped to be seeing a playoff game for the first time in 10+ seasons.

Mavs did much better tonight, but not quite up to their standard...

They really need to work on controlling the rebound, they would have their hands on the ball after a board, and it would end up going back to GS. Also lots of bad passes that were turned over if not really close to being a turn over. Terry had like 4 really stupid passes, and he is usually pretty good.

Overall great job of getting GS upset. Lots of points in the paint, which later turned into lots of trips to the foul line. Just want to see Dirk starting to get back into a groove

still sticking to my Mavs in 6 prediction

Would have been a better game if Davis had kept his cool.

That was a VERY important win for the Mavs. GSW was the only team in the league that swept the Mavs in the regular season. Something about playing them makes the Mavs off balance. Honestly, I didn't think they would win last night. The GSW getting an 11-0 run early in the game was (I thought) a back-breaker, but the Mavericks finished strong. Great game!

The main problem there will be the fact that GS can not control there emotions. They start bitching about everycall and showing up the refs constatnly. I honestly think they had the idea that no one would get tossed this post season because of what happend to Duncan and Joey Crawford. This series took a definate shift because all of a sudden that swagger of GS turned into arogance and an expectation to win and they think the refs should be "on their side"

Should be interesting the rest of the way out.

This next game might be a little tougher, but I say Mavs in 6 overall. We came out, and did what we had to do last night. Not their best performance ever, but the D looked good, and shooting was a far cry from the 36% from the field they displayed Sunday night. What pisses me off about that, is they were 36% from the field, and it wasn't because GS has a D worth a shit. They just flat out couldn't hit shots. Golden State's defense reminds me of kids under 6 soccer. They play herd ball.

Davis & Jackson got exactly what they deserved. Diop is a fucking moron for jumping in it though. If he had kept his mouth shut it could have saved us a T. Did anyone happen to catch the first thing out of Barkley's mouth after the game was over? LMGDAO @ "You know who Stephen Jackson reminds me of? T.O."

There were some really bad calls last night, and things that should have been called on BOTH sides of the ball. I don't know how much it would have changed the outcome though.

EDIT: It wouldn't surprise me one bit if Jackson is suspended for game 3 for failure to shut the fuck up.

He was the one that got fouled. If two dudes reached in and slapped my hands AFTER the first foul was called, I'd have been raising hell too.

That piece of shit davis tried to slap the ball out of Terry's hand way after the foul had already been called. I would have been mad too.

What game were you watching? No, Terry didn't get a T. Davis, Jackson, and Diop got technicals. Terry did not.

So did someone else. Can't remember who though. Barnes was the first to foul, and the one that got called.

Well we already know you have temper issues. But we also know Terry only acts so hard there because he knows he won't get slapped down for it like he would elsewhere. The thuggishness needs to go, and his response was T worthy.

How is that justification? OH NO MY HAND GOT SLAPPED. If that's the case, no wonder basketball players are such thugs in general. Such sissy things affect them and knock them over that they have to make up their manhood elsewhere.

BBall players are thugs because they take welfare kids and give them mutli million dollar contracts.

Damn right it's justification. He got slapped TWICE after the foul was called. That's unnecessary, and borderline excessive. The Warriors play dirty, and that just further proved it. All Terry did was call them on it.

With such trauma, Terry might want to stop playing now before his hand get's slapped again. I hear it happens in bball from time to time.

And fwiw, the game is officiated by officials, not by the players. They should keep it that way. Terry doesn't need to be calling anything.

You have a point. But there are FAR worse in the league than Terry. He's mild when compared to the likes of Duncan.

I don't mind Duncan because he doesn't get in other players' faces. He turns to the refs. Wouldn't consider him thuggish. He's a fuckin' swimmer, thugs can't swim. Horry is prolly the most likely to get in another player's face.

Barron Davis and Stephen Jackson are the two of basketballs biggest whiners. When everything goes their way they're talking smack to the mavs bench and shit talking to everyone on the mavs. The minute they get called for a foul they go apeshit and cry like little immature adolescents. They have absolutely no maturity, and last night proved it. They're good players, but their emotions always get the best of them.

I agree.

But in their defense, they are EXTREMELY emotionally involved in this series. Being the underdogs, their record vs the #1 team in the league, etc. It would be hard not to let emotions run rampant in a setting like this. After all, it is the playoffs. They just need to do a better job controlling them. Another outburst like last night, and they are definitely done for.

I agree, in no way am I a GS cheerleader. They both deserved to get thrown out and Jackson deserves the extra fines he has coming. I was just saying I was surprised that Terry didn't get one, but Diop and Jackson did.
