TIED at the half. We are not shooting good tonight, but we should not give GS anything to feed off.

I don't know about that...

I did call the mavs in 6, and loss tonight wouldn't surprise me. Shooting 36% is not good, lots of easy misses in the paint and even missed free throws.

Everyone talks about the mavs and spurs in the conference finals. Hell if both teams play like this for the rest of thier series they wont make it pass the first round. LMAO

Baron Davis looks like the stud he was back in his days when the Hornets were still in Charlotte. If he continues to play like he did tonight, the Mavs will be in a world of hurt.
The Mavs are outmatched in the backcourt and it showed tonight. Don Nelson knows it, too.

Well, it is obvious that Nelson knows how to play against Dirk...and if they do continue to play like this they will be home early...I do believe that they are the best team in the NBA, they just did not play like they were tonight...GS doesn't quite have them on their heels yet, but a win in GS could help that right along...

come on Mavs!! pull it together...

Yeah, lots of people in the Fan Shop let out a big yell when the final seconds ticked off the Spurs/Nuggets game.

Nice crowd and intensity tonight...only the Mavs weren't the one who brung it. Too many damn missed layups really hurt us. And the BS non-call that knocked Devin Harris on his ass. Oh well, Mavs should be better in game 2.

Ouch! That hurt... I knew this was not going to be a 4 game series but I figured the Mavs would at least win the first two games! I know the Mavs are going to shoot better in the next few games but GS really had them on their heels. It will be interesting to see what Avery brings in game 2. I'm not too worried... yet...

If you're talking about the Jason Richardson block, that wasn't a foul. He got a clean block then they both fell together and Richardson ended up on top. There were a few borderline calls in the game, but that wasn't one of them.

From the replay on the jumbotron it looked like he got a whole lot of arm across the head.

Well I made a little scratch since GS covered the spread. Unfortunately, one of the highlights of watching the game was the closeups on the Mavs dancers. They got some cute ones on the squad this year.

So how did you not see this coming when they are the only team that the Mavs have not beat all year?

You haven't seen him whine or complain about a call? Do you actually watch any games? He's now the Mavs biggest whiner, overtaking Dork. Of course, Cuban makes that team all look like whiners.

Harris is not a flopper? If that dude was in the NHL he would be in the box for unsportsman like conduct as soon as he hit the ice. That dude goes flying through the air like a trapeze artist. It is one thing to sell a foul but come on. I am not a NBA ref or do I play one on TV, but if I was he would not get the calls.

Cool. Couldn't tell. They showed the replays on the big screen and it looked like he was hammered. So maybe we're not talking about the same play. It was so obvious that they immediately made announcements in the building that fans shouldn's throw objects onto the court. I recorded the game, so I'll go back and check it out.

I can admit Duncan whines (doesn't really whine, but throws his hands up) and that Manu flops, but you guys have a hard time admitting the same thing about your own players.

There is no doubt that there is a lot of floppers/whiners/titty babies, but Harris is in a league of his own with the 10ft air time and the additional 5ft that he slides on the court. He can't be faulted for effort though. He can ball.

I think Harris flies because he's so light - what 150 lbs, soaken wet?...He gets bumped consistently by people 20/30/40 lbs heavier than him. To his credit though, he does sacrifice his body and has taken MANY, MANY legitimate hits.
