I called Chicago to beat Miami, but I figured Toronto was on a roll and with home court - they'd beat NJ. But you can never count the Nets out with VC and Kidd and if anyone can pull off the upset in the 1st round, this could be it.

The Nets moving pass Toronto wouldn't be an upset to me! Chris Bosh does all the work, and when one player does all the work, it's a recipe for a lost. Just look what happened whenever Bosh didn't play, they started trailing by more and more points.

I would be more worried about our beloved mavs, they are in trouble. I am not liking the fact they haven't beaten them yet.

Mavs are going down to Golden State IMO. Everyone seems to think that's "crazy" but the Mavs play like SHIT against them. And they do it consistently. GSW in 6 <-------- you heard it here first

Spurs aren't playing around tonight. Spurs have held a double digit lead for a big part of the game (I think)...but Nuggs are within 8 with just under 4 mins to go.

Nope.

If Davis hadn't been ejected, the outcome would have been different. But the Mavs definitely played a different game last night, they looked like they gave a shit. It will be a good series no matter what, cockbreath.

What's this WE shit? I didn't see you out there.

While it's true Dallas was ahead, the guy puts a lot of pressure on the Mavs on both ends of the court. Most teams don't play great when a key piece of the puzzle is missing. Kind of like how Dallas plays when Jason Terry is out..

Like I said, it's gonna be a good series.

Do you listen to or read any sports analysts comments? I have yet to hear a single one calling GS to win the series. Most say this will be over in 5/6 games, with the Mavs win. Several have said the Mavs won't lose another game in this series.

I think the Mavs will win the series too. But also have seen enough games and seen/heard/read enough analysts be wrong to know that it doesn't always go as planned. The series is fucking 1-1, too early to call it either way. Too early for you to be calling 46Tbird out. The Mavs played GSW a few times in the regular season, if you remember, and didn't exactly walk them like I hear Mavs fans say they will in the playoffs.

Like I said, last night was a clusterfuck of a game and not a good indicator of how the rest of the rally is going to go.

I'm just fucking with Danny. He knows that. Anyone can pull a win out of their ass when they need to during regular season. Playoffs is a completely different game, and the players have a completely different mentality. Simply put, GS doesn't have the D, or the depth necessary to beat us in a 7 game series.

Neither did the Heat.

I think that's pretty funny too. You really think the Mavs will beat a team four-straight that they were unable to beat all season?

Sure. Hopefully the Mavs are done playing like crap against this team. All they have to do is stay confident and play Mavs-caliber ball. I think the last game was the turning point. Anything can happen, but I will not be surprised to see the Mavs win out.

Wishful thinking to see it happen in 5? Probably. But I would put money on them winning this series. Care to wager?

No, not ready to bet on it just yet.

This Game 3 is going to be the deciding game IMO.

If GS wins Game 3, I will put $20 on them winning the series. Fair?

This and the Wizards beating the Cavs are the two least likely things to happen in the first round.

That's like making the bet now, but saying if GS loses, you withdraw your bet. I'm not agreeing to that. Let's just make the bet now for winner of the series, regardless of number of games. We can do $20 if you want. I don't mind going higher to make it more interesting.

I will say that if you're a Mavs fan, it's kinda jacked to bet against them when they aren't even the underdog. You jinxing knucklehead!

Completely jacked, I know. But obviously I wasn't too far off.

I didn't jinx anything, the Mavs had an 8pt lead with less than 4mins to go. Turning over nearly every possession afterward and jump-shooting 3s down the stretch isn't going to get it done.

One thing that's gotta be disheartning for the Nuggets: They outplayed the Spurs the entire game and still lost.
