Regardless of this story and if it turns out to be true, the fact remains the Angels overpaid for an over 30 one hit wonder. I figured I wouldn't get to gloat and have proof the Rangers made the right move till July, but lucky me, looks like I may get to celebrate as early as April. I better pre-heat the oven in case I need to get that batch of crow ready.

He wasn't even a one hit wonder, it was a decent season but nothing stellar. He had a .313 average, 19 home runs and 79 RBIs. The free agent market is just retarded now. I'm waiting to see Jeff Bagwell get a $10,000,000 signing bonus with the Red Sox or something now.
