Mavs/NJ

Devean George may be back tonight.

Should be a snoozer. Mavs by 15.

And don't look now, Spurs have won 9 in a row. Too bad we don't get to play for another month.

These are the kind of games that they sometimes have trouble with! I say Mavs by 5, and they trail at halftime. Hopefully I'm not right, they've had plenty of rest, but sometimes they don't have a "go to" guy on easy-win nights.

Na... I'm saying a blow-out from the start and the lead dwendling off 1/2 way through the 4th, but the hold on to win by 8.

Some friends of mine made a bet the other night. One gave the other 5:1 odds that the Mavs won't lose more than 3 more regular season games. I think he made a nice bet.

70 wins would be nice, but I have the Mavs going 18-5 the rest of the way....to end up at 68-14. They have a 6 game road trip coming up and some tough games along the way. They've also been too hot for too long. Some losses just have to happen. And if they don't, then I bet they'll lose one or two towards the end by leaving Dirk/Josh/Jet out of a game or two or playing them very minimally.

I would agree, however look at Orlando's record and the game on Saturday.

Closer/tougher game than I expected, but Mavs still won by 13. Now we have 4 days of rest before Kobe comes to town.

Anyone watch the whole game? It was kind of an "awwww" moment when JET flew into the crowd over granny...then went back and gave her a kiss.

Awesome game! Scary third quarter, thought they might blow it but the Mavs held on for the win. Mavs are on a mission this season. Sunday will be a good test.

85% win percentage this late in the season...

Gotta say very impressive, Mavs. The 10 or so games I've been at this year you can tell a difference in the team. They are firing on all cylinders and are playing as a team from start to finish. Given their experience last year they will be da' team in the playoffs.

Anyway, I think the Mavs will only lose one more game during the regular season and I think their streak will be broken in the low 20's.

I wasn't THAT far off. Good win, fun game to watch! I bet Devin Harris has a headache this morning, lol.

Anyone catch the highlights of the Spurs game? I was watching it on Gamecast on ESPN.com. They were down 7 with 2:33 left in the game and hit 4 3-pointers in a row and ended up winning by 5. I hate to give him cred, but Fin has been huge off the bench during this win streak. He went off for 20 last night. Tony Parker only played 18 minutes due to his injury but they didn't miss a beat. Looking at their schedule, it's not out of the question that they can put 15 straight together by the end of next week, as long as they play their game.

That was the case last season too. I'm convinced that two of the four Heat victories were handed to them by phantom calls and non-calls. Yes I'm a complete Mavs homer but even if I wasn't I would feel the same way. I'm glad to see the Mavs are on a mission this year, time to take the championship they deserve.

Yeah I'm off Western Center. There's a Boston's going up right here and there's a new sports bar named Dublin Square here too. Haven't been to the museum in a while since it's so damn far now. I'll be out for Memorial Day for sure and will probably make our first ever trip to the Reno Air Races in Sept

Yeah, if the Mavs make it back to the finals, they'll win because of the chip on their shoulder. Big if though...being the toughest division, we're gonna have to knock off S.A., the Suns, or both like last year.
