Went to a suite at the Stars game Friday night...03/03/07

i took amy and a couple of longtime friends and took care of the bill...$300.00 tab for food/drinks...it wasn't bad considering the surroundings and the food was decent. even though you're high up, i think that it's the best way to watch a game. you can see the entire rink/court, and you're not squished into a small area. anyway, that place is pretty cool...it had two or three lcd/plasma televisions, several different seating arrangements, tables, bars, complete kitchen area, etc...it even had a computer with internet access, if you wanted to fart around on the web. the only gripe that i have is that the platinum parking sucks! it takes forever to get out of that parking garage!

Baller!

If I ever get a chance to watch an event from one of the suites, I normally hang back for a little and let the masses leave first to avoid the rush. Plus it lowers your price per minute rate for the suite.

We have a few title companies that do that for us a couple of times a year. Its always real nice. I like the suites but the prices on them are just totally out of fucking control.

i'm not sure what they charge, but some people that i deal with have a few season tickets to suites, and i get them offered to me from time to time...i just rarely have time to go. btw, when you order something (like most sports suites), you have to order for 10 people....well, we only had four. there was plenty of left over food when we left...i was asking people in other suites if they wanted any of the brownies, etc off of the desert tray!

i know...i figured that the stars were going to run them over, but obviously not...they had an over time and a shoot out, which the stars lost.

I've say all around that arena and prefer section 112, about row O seats 1-(however many people are with me). That's where we bought the playoff tickets for and where I'll buy next years season tickets. Sat in 111 for the 3/3 game and it was too linear behind the net.

The box seats are nice, but I always find myself around people who want to yap while the puck is in play. I like being down with the fans, although the lower sections tend to have yappers too.

My '03 Sold.
