Mavs/Magic

Mavs going for a team record 15th straight win and #50 on the season. Should be an entertaining night.

We got ourselves a game...Magic up by 2 at the half (42-40) and scored the 1st bucket of the 2nd.

They sure do. Think the pressure is getting to them to make a franchise record?

Hey Jose on a side note do you really have 38,830 posts?

Don't think there is any pressure to make a franchise record consecutive wins. There simply not playing to well.

Yes I do have that many posts doesn't hurt that I'm on the net all day at work and I can post while being mobile via my phone, PDA, or laptop.

Dayum, Harris fouled out. Fucking Dwight Howard is playing dirty. Anybody see him foul the shit out of Dirk? Should have been a flagrant

Jason Terry is having a killer game. Howard just got fouled and he got the basket. We definitely have a game going on now!

This should be game. Dirk just nailed a long jumper! 7.9 seconds left and timeout Orlando.

Or that you've been on the site 7 years. Breaking it down over that amount of time doesn't make it seem so bad. Of course, I've been here nearly as long and have 1/3 the posts.

This game was exciting. I was amazed Orlando hung in there like that after getting blown out by 24 the previous night against the Spurs. I was kinda miffed that no flagrant was called on that foul by Howard on Dirk. That was all head and no ball. Maybe the league will review it and do something about it.

Now, the Mavs get a nice break again. They had a week off for the All-Star game, then played 6 games in 9 days and now have only 1 game (NJ) in the next 7 days.
Then we get the Lakers and Golden State back to back on the road. Skip a day, then Phoenix at home. Anyone wanna take a gander where the streak will end?
I say L.A. The Fakers aren't playing all that well, but Dallas never plays too well out in L.A.

Speaking of streaks, it must suck to have an 8 game winning streak and not be able to gain any ground on 1st place.

If you really think Spurs fans are hoping for the 1 seed, think again. All that matters is they're rolling right now. If they keep playing as good as they are right now, they're just as good as anyone in the league. Also pay attention to the way these teams are winning. The Spurs have been blowing out their opponents as of late, whereas it seems the Mavs have to have a great 4th quarter to pull it out in some. It'll get interesting in the playoffs if both teams keep this pace.

yep..... plus the Mavs have played many of these teams that are coming off a BACK TO BACK....Spurs blew out Orlando and the Mavs just edged them and Orlando had played us the night before...just giving Mavs fans something to think about..Plus we blew out Houston the day after with out Parker in Houston

RECORDS DONT WIN CHAMPIONSHIPS...MAVS FANS SHOULD BE THE FIRST ONES TO KNOW THAT...LOL

Aw jeez, Spurs show a spark and now we gotta listen to you guys again.

Congrats on beating the 28-33 Magic in a blowout. Mavs are allowed to have an off night every now and then - especially when they still win the game.

But look at the games thoughout the season. Mavs have an average margin of victory of 8.1 a game. The Slurs - 8.5. The Suns - 7.8. Next closest team in the NBA is the Bulls at 4.6. We've had our share of blowouts and so have the Spurs. They just don't happen every night. I think the Mavs get bored and slack every now and then, but Avery always whips them into shape in the 4th period in time for the win.

You're right. I can't wait for the 2nd round matchup between S.A. and Dallas again this year. Or maybe S.A. can get white-hot and pass the Suns* in the standings and we find you guys in the WCF.

* Shouldn't be too hard...Spurs are only 4 1/2 back and Phoenix has Houston, Dallas, and Detroit next week.
