UFC 68- who of these should win?

Tell me between these matchups below who should win easily-(doing a little wagering between friends, looking for a pretty sure winner)

Chris Lytle vs Matt Hughes

Jason Lambert vs Renato Sobral

Rich Franklin vs Jason MacDonald

I wouldn't go that far, no. Chris Lytle is no shit... I just think Matt is more well-rounded. Anything can happen in MMA.

on paper yeah, but who knows what kind of shape/mood either fighters will be in when they step on the mat... I'd wait until after I watched the weigh in and had a chance to gauge both of their attitudes....

should win?

I'd say Hughes, Babalu, Franklin. Will win, you never know, thats why they fight. I never bet unless I think the dog has a very good chance to win. That is unless it's a bet with a friend with no odds.

And yes it's tomorrow.

Hughes, Babalu, Franklin. It just depends on how Hughes and Franklin come back after getting ko'd. Sometimes when people get ko'd they never come back the same(mentally and/or physically).

Going with the majority here, although MacDonald surprised me and I can see him pull out the upset.

id say the safest bet out of those is the Hughes fight.

I see Hughes taking this fight to the ground immediately and laying down a beating.

If Joe Riggs gnp'd Lytle and split his head open, I cant imagine what Hughes will do to him..

Go Randy!!

On paper it is safe to go w/the favorites but if the Franklin fight hits the ground and Jason can keep it there I can see an upset. Babalu will probably win by submission and I don't see Hughes losing if he can get the fight to the ground.

hughes, Babalu, and I dunno about the franklin fight. Rich is a monster but I think Silva got in his head bigtime when he got destroyed and Mcdonald is no joke. If Rich doesnt walk out there and knock him out in the first three minutes I think Mcdonald will submit him late in the 2nd or in the third.

agreed...

I also got an update about the local fight, apparently the guy who puts it on is "under investigation" so the competition has been canceled. We weren't told what for so we'll have to wait for the next one to come up.

Exactly! Randy was unbelievable. I was beside myself with joy watching that douchebag Tim Sylvia lose his precious belt. This will probably go down as my all time favorite fight.

Crazy, for sure!! Who do you think will be fighting Cro-Cop first? Tim or Randy? I am thinking they will put Tim in front of him his next fight. I was glad to see Rich and Matt have decent comebacks. Alot of people don't comeback from KO's to well. Hopefully Rich comeback and give Anderson a good fight this time. I think Matt has his hands full though. Should be interesting.

I am almost positive he meant that neither coture or sylvia would be able to hang with cro cop. I think the entire world knows that cro cop is going to kick some serious juiced against anybody in the ufc.

I read last week Dana had stated Mirko would face the HW champion regardless of who held it after he defeats Gonzaga. So I would suspect he will fight Couture, Tim, AA if all things play out the way they should and eventually face off again against Fedor.

Is Fedor still under contract or is he just going fight to fight?

He has a contract with Bodog to fight Matt Lindland in a couple months or somewhere in that timeframe. He actually re-signed a multi-year deal with Pride a month ago.

Yeah, very bad sign. Pride going away is not going to be a good thing for the MMA community. Bad for the fighters AND fans. Good for Zuffa.

I prefer Pride's events overall more than UFC events so I will be really pissed if they just go away. The presentation is so much better and the PPV's give you more fights w/more of an international flavor that I like.

They lost lots of money and have been forced to move their events to PPV in Japan when they were originally aired on regular TV. Imagine paying for sporting events after seeing them for free for years. So they lost a lot of money they once had to pay their fighters and have not marketed their product well at all IMO here in the States.
