To have Tim Sylvia ranked above Alexander Emelianenko is clearly someone blinded by the weaker HWT competition in the UFC.

Alexander would DESTROY Sylvia...

And don't even get me started on Fedor...Sylvia said "Bring on Fedor!" and when he was given the opportunity to fight him he bitched out like a little punk.

The only way to settle the Alexander vs Tim fight would be...well for them to fight.

Which website are those rankings from?

If Swick beats Okami, then he should be ranked. Everyone listed in the middleweights would beat Swick right now.

Liddell should be #2. Shogun Rua is the #1 205 lber in the world right now.

cro cop is up there, he's right behind Fedor, what are you talking about?

and Silva is overrated???? are you kidding me? His first fight with cro cop he gave him all he could handle and has knocked Rampage smooth the fuck out TWICE. Just because he got beat in the ufc early in his career i wouldn't go by that too much.

i'm sure some others on here can make a better statement for Silva than i can.

wow...

Marvin Eastman is no slouch, and can take quite a punch.

Rampage is a dominant force in MMA, no joke. You don't hold a 26-6 record, with losses only to the top fighters at that time. Rua, Wanderlei, Matsui, Sakuraba, Eastman in 2000. And a big win over every newbies wet dream, Chuck Lidell. And other wins over top fighters such as Bustamante, Randleman, Igor Vovchanchyn, Arona, Murilo Rua, Lindland, and Eastman.

I'm just waiting for that Chuck and Rampage rematch.

As for Wanderlei, 31-6, with wins over Fujita, Arona, Rampage, Sakuraba, Otsuka, Yoshida, Dan Henderson, Guy Mezger, Mike Van Arsdale, etc... And losses to greats such as, Vitor Belfort, Tito Ortiz, Arona, Mark Hunt, and Flipovic. He's still one of the top fighters right now, hands down.

UFC is in for a huge suprise as Rampage and CroCop dominate their core guys.

You're only as strong as you allow yourself to be...

so you're trying to say Rampage will beat Chuck? Huh Matt??

i might say this, if anybody out there could beat Chuck, it would be Jackson. Maybe.

If Wanderlei fights Liddell in Pride, Wandy will win. If they fight in UFC, Liddell will win. The pride rules definitely benefit Wandy there. soccer kicks, knees to the head of a downed opponent, face stomps, etc.. Those are tools in his arsenal that he uses to win some of his fights.
The fans will be robbed if this fight never happens.

Rampage needs one more fight before fighting Liddell again. He needs to get back into training full time. He was chillin at the Bellagio a few hours before the fights. He doesnt look the same since the first beating he got from Wandy..

Liddell is getting older too. He's 37 or 38 already. He better get in these high profile fights before its too late. He has been on a roll lately and is due a loss. You know with all these public appearances he is doing, that his training might not be as intense as usual.

I heard on the radio he's on a national promotion for that movie "300" and he's not even in it.

Rampage's debut, I was expecting more out of him, but perhaps it was nerves like he said. I just found it weird he would be nervous for UFC but fine for a huge setting like Pride.

Have you heard anymore about Vera? Dana White seems pretty pissed off at him because he's asking for so much money with only one fight left on his contract. I can't blame White really, no matter who has the belt (Vera,Sylvia, Courture) they're going to lose it when CrCop gets a shot at it.

Who was the last person to beat CroCop?

Was it a bad beating? I mean, bad enough to cause that kind of trauma? I didnt see the fight.

both times Rampage fought silva it ended with a DIRTY ko. the 1st fight ended with Rampage taking about 30 knees and a few soccer kicks in a row before the ref stopped it. no joke man. that avatar that I used to have was from their first fight.
the 2nd one he took a knee and ended up draped over the bottom rope hanging halfway out of the ring completely ko'd.

I think the last person to beat Cro Cop would be Mark Hunt on NYE 05. It wasnt a very exciting fight and went to decision. Hunt did take a high kick without budging too. lol

Vera just posted this thread.

If you havent listened to that radio show i posted, check it out. Dana talks about Vera quite a bit.
