I dont agree with USC being #2 or Auburn #4. I think Texas and Florida should be a bit higher

That too.

Also, Cal got blown out by Tennessee. If anything, that should be Tennessee's spot.

Texas didn't put up much more of a fight against Ohio State than Notre Dame did against Michigan, and Texas hasn't played "anyone of worth" since that game, either. I'm just sayin'...

Not much of a fight?

I don't call 340 offensive yards against the #1 team in the nation not much of a fight.

Notre Dame got beat by 26. Thats not much of a fight.

Texas has beaten 3 Big XII teams already including Oklahoma.

I'd call 7 points on the scoreboard, versus 24, not much of a fight. A little, but not much.

Wowzers. Texas beat Oklahoma (not bad, but not entirely great), Baylor (LOLzorz!!!), and Iowa State.

That 7 easily could have been 17 if not for a fumble on the goal-line and a bad kick. That score was somewhat deceptive.

Just to prove a point on how FUCKED UP the BCS Computers are, here are the top 10 COMPUTER rankings:

1. USC
2. Michigan
3. Ohio State
4. Florida
5. Auburn
6. California
7. Notre Dame
8. Arkansas
9. Rutgers
10. Louisville

Looks like someone needs to install Norton on those computers because they are messed up.

ND got beat by the 2nd best team in the nation and have actually played better opponents than UT.

I would sure like to see Texas sitting up near the top, but I don't think they're that good. Colt McCoy has a looooong way to go.

Ha, they barely beat Georgia Tech, beat now unranked Penn State, barely beat unranked Michigan St by 3, and unranked Purdue and Stanford.

Definately not better opponents than Texas has played and Texas' margin of winning is much higher.

I agree for the most part, but meeting/beating spreads/expectations is important to voters. Texas is 6-1 with their only loss to #1 Ohio State. Notre Dame is 5-1 with their only loss to #3 Michigan. Texas was beaten by the better opponent, lost by less points, and is ranked higher in all 3 polls.

that looks right to me arkansas has more wins over top 25 teams than texas so they should be higher. and their lose is to number1 or 2 depending on which poll so this is how it should be.

don't cry because you know what you need more than anything for texas to have any shot at a title game is for arkansas to win out to keep auburn out of the sec title game, and you need UA to beat UF for texas to have a shot. but I know mitch isn't ready yet for this and they will lose at least 2 more games b4 the end of the season. so you better hope I am wrong and start rooting for the pigs.

remember when arkansas beat then number 5 texas at texas and texas didn't lose much spots then why would you expect auburn to be affected any different now?

Arkansas lucked out against Vandy/'Bama and caught Auburn on an off day. They still have to play Tennessee and LSU. They'll lose those games.

Also, 'Bama was only ranked in 1 poll when Arkisaw beat them in OT and they were like #24 anyway.

that doesn't matter, as you have stated many many times. they still have beaten more ranked foes than texas. and they play a 10x harder schedule than texas. if the hogs some how win out you are gonna cry when they leap frog the horns.

No way. This isn't last year where Penn State was good and Purdue sucks. Stanford? They haven't been good since before I was born.

Notre Dame always plays a bunch of nobodies to rack up wins and puts USC on there at the end of the year. NBC has the TV contract with them so you know the BCS is going to be slobbing that knob.

penn st would roll up the bears or the other big 12 team that texas has played, the ou game would be a good one, but with out AD Penn would win.

The 'Bama game doesn't really count as a ranked team win because they were in only one poll. Thats more like .5 of a ranked win and it wasn't much of one at that.

You know they won't win out and they won't leapfrog anyone, let alone Texas.

Maybe last year, but not this year. They aren't anywhere near what they were last year. Morrelli can't throw for shit. Surprisingly, Baylor is alot better than they have been in many years. Iowa State has a pretty decent offense, but their defense is poor.

it doesn't matter, like you stated so many times in the past were they ranked when they played, yes did they beat them yes. that is all thank you.

you like to use things that only help texas look good, but when somebody else uses it you try and turn it around again. but that doesn't work with me. you will have to pick one way you want all teams to be judge and go from there, otherwise I will be here to pounce on you every time you slip up.

texas can't move up with out those teams losing, they still have ranked teams to play and texas has a&m, which is one loss from not being ranked by the time texas plays them.

Texas has to play a good ranked team in Nebraska next week and depending on how they play in that game, they'll move up.

The teams ahead of Texas have too many tough games ahead for them to all stay in front.

keep that hope alive, and yea I forgot about neb. but I think they will not be ranked by the end of the season, they are more overranked than arkansas.

It's funny you are pissed about a poll that doesn't fucking matter. Polls until the last week of the season don't mean shit.

Hell this stuff doesn't mean shit in real life, it's fucking college football.

No, if they are this fucked up this early in the season, I can only imagine what they might be at the end if Texas wins out.

I hope not or else Texas might become the 2004 Auburn Tigers and get screwed out of the BCS yet again.

LMMFAO...that has to be the best thing ever posted. texas lost a game. Auburn didn't, texas plays in a weak conference auburn didn't. comparing those two teams is like comparing ark and texas last year.

I'm merely saying that Texas gets screwed every year in the BCS unless they go undefeated and its total BS.

We'll see what happens, but I hope these computers get some better formulas to work with or you are going to see tons of college football fans burning the BCS headquarters down.

don't worry mack brown will start crying sometime in the next 3 weeks about how he gets no respect then all of a sudden the polls will change and texas will be ranked number 1 because they won it last year, and should get to defend the title.

Yeah, you cry about Mack talking to the press yet you don't say anything about Tubberville talking only last week. The voters vote the way they do no matter what is said.

really did tubberville cry about unfair rankings? I didn't hear about it. but we all know mack cried all over sportscenter about how it is unfair that they are left out of the bcs games then all of a sudden they jumped over cal. funny how that works out. when tubberville stated I don't understand how you can go undefeated in teh SEC and not get a shot at the title, which is a valid point. but he didn't cry he just went out and played their bowl game.
