About fucking time. Never have liked that joker.

Kinda funny that I'm reading this now as I saw someone from the Front Office being interviewed about getting rid of Buck just a couiple of weeks ago - to which he replied that it's not in the cards.

They'll win the World Series once Tom Hicks either dies or sells the team.

it doesn't matter who coaches this fucking team.... they will always be among the dregs of baseball. i don't see a new coach or any coach improving this team... it doesn't matter if it is Buck, Chuck or Fuck.

hell dig up billy martin and prop him up in the dugout.... it doesn't matter. the ranger's will always on the bottom looking up.

but, i will give them their kudo's.... they are probably the best team in arlington. can't include dallas or fort worth because there are some pretty damn good high school teams out there.

Yep, TRAXX is right. Our glory season is upon us, get ready for the rings. LOL

There was personal animosity between Showalter and team owner George Steinbrenner, and he was forced out in favor of Joe Torre. The Yankees won the World Series the following year.

Just as the Yankees did after replacing him, the Diamondbacks won the World Series the following year (coincidentally defeating the Yankees).

I guess they don't want to try to get someone like Joe Girardi or Dusty Baker. They probably know it's a trap.

Agreed but he had been playing since July with a bum shoulder. They probably should have traded him last year for pitching when his value was a little higher.
