How did your fantasy football day go?

Most of my teams had alot bye players so that hurt me to begin with. and the other players I was counting on, produced big fat zeros.

I did hit good by getting Mark Brunnell of free agency because Washington was playing Houston. I had given up on Roy Williams of Detroit and put him on the bench...I missed out on that one, he came up big today. I am getting my ass handed to me because of all the bye week players I have.

yeah I guess I could have summed up my first post as simple as that.

I just hope my DFWStangs league team does well. I have a feeling BigMatt is going down.

in 2 of my leagues I am doing really good for the day, but I have a feeling the Merkins got me today in the DFW league.

Damn and I voted for you to win too. But looking at Merkins players, most of the people on that team did well, so i will be tough to win that game.

Actually after looking at it some and doing a rough calculation of points i am down a bit but if Bell, Warren and Harrison have decent days I would jump ahead.

Down by 4 points with TE Ben Watson and RB Warrick Dunn left to play. The other guy is done. If I win, I will be the only person that is 3-0 in my league.

2 out of my 3 are locked in for the win, the other, i'm up by a few but he's got Michael Jenkins playing tonight. He needsk 100yds and a TD from Jenkins to beat me. If that doesn't happen, then I will have two teams 3-0.

yeah, you're so right, I'm just going down like a punk

Oh wait, my bad, I'm up by 31 points, and I still have Roddy White playing tonight.
Who do you have left? Carney and Bullocks? There's a good 15 points.

I guess I'M THE LOCK on this one.

Now in my other two leagues, I'm not doing so hot.

In one, I'm down by 21 points, with New Orleans Defense, and Carney left to play, and my opponent has no one left. I don't think I can possibly win, unless something crazy happens

In the other, I'm down by 79 points (wierd scoring league, typical points a week range from 375-500) with Reggie Bush, Carney, and Atlanta's Defense left to play against, Crumpler. This one I should pull off no doubt.

You're only as strong as you allow yourself to be...

I'm up by 41 points but my opponent has Drew Brees tonight. Good thing I've got Joe Horn and Reggie

Carson Palmer and Clinton Portis ftw! Baltimore's defense also has been good to me so far.

So far I'm down 30 points to this weeks opponent. However I have 5 players in the Saints/Falcons game. Those include Mike Vick, John Carney, Joe Horn, Donte Stallworth, and Marques Colston.

I think I've got a decent chance to win. My opponent had a pretty bad week.

Keep in mind that was without LT too

I'm 3-0 this week in my 3 leagues. I was sweating this week in the DFWStangs league because my best player had a bye and I was going against a good team, but my team suprised me.

I've run the numbers 978 times, and according to my calculations, its mathematically impossible for my team (the one that has this week locked down and will be 3-0 by tomorrow) to lose this year unless I were to bench 82% of my starters. At that point, the probability of me losing would then jump to .000000001%

Stallworth is an Eagle now, and was a late scratch for the game.

"Dogmans Landsharks" has a 70+ point lead on me. Fucking insane.

Maybe Reggie Bush will put up 90+ points tonight.

I"m not in the dfwstangs league. 3 guys on here are in this leage besides me. Big Matt you know, not sure if you know the other 2, they don't post in here very often. Its a private league we have every year. We have 10 teams and each teams starts 2 QB's, 2 RB's, 2 defenses, 2 kickers, 1 TE, 2 Wideouts, with another slot for a Wideout or TE, and another slot for a Wideout or Running back. And 5 defensive players. We have very little depth with so many positions. You have what you have and make due. My lineup doesn't look intimidating but keep in mind, 10 guys starting 2 QB's, defenses, RB's, etc. So as a collective group, they are impressive, especially with the points system. My starting line up

QB's: Peyton Manning
Alex Smith
Steve McNair (backup)

Running backs
Frank Gore
Deuce Mcallister
Mike Bell (backup)

Wideouts
T. Houshmandzadeh
Roy Williams
D. Gabriel
J. Cotchery

Tight Ends
Antonio Gates
Ben Watson (backup)

Defense
Seattle
Carolina
Kickers
R. Gould
J, Kasay

Defensive Players
A. Thomas
S. Quarles
D. Ryans
R. Mathis
W. Harris
M. Vrabel
T. Mcgee
