Mavs Draft

Watching Fox 4 Sports tonight and they were saying that they might take Jordan Farmar from UCLA if he is there or P.J. Tucker from Texas.

P.J. Tucker to the Mavs!? DO IT!

Yeah I saw that. I dont know what to think as for the Mavs draft.

I mean yeah, I'd like to see PJ Tucker since Im a Longhorn fan but only if hes the right fit. He is on the short side to be a forward (6-5) but he seems to play bigger than that (kinda like Barkley). So who knows. The Mavs have drafted well the last couple of years so I trust them to make the right choice and not the most popular one.

I don't know about the Mavs, but I guarantee the Spurs will take some foreigner no ones heard of.

The Spurs made a trade that will definately help them. They got the 12th best 3 pt shooter in the nba. He can sink the long and mid range shots. The spurs are gonna be scary.

They need to look into developing another great 6th man role player to replace Stack. i doubt they will give him another contract after next season.

I like the pick. Ager's a 4 year college player under Izzo, Averaged 20 points a game, plays tough D, and very athletic. At 6'4" has descent size. Could be a good back up guard, especially if Marquis gets traded in the off season.

GO MAVS!!!!

It's a solid pick, he can play SG/SF.... drafting late in the 1st round isnt best position but i trust Avery and our staff with this pick.

(this draft blows btw)

Began to break out near the end of his junior season, averaging 18.2 ppg during Michigan State's NCAA Tournament run. The presence of three senior guards still forced him to share the spotlight a bit. Finished the season averaging 14.1 pts and 3.9 reb in 26.3 mpg, while shooting 47.6% from the field, 82.2% from the line, and 40.2% from beyond the arc.

Began his up and down senior season on fire, putting up 36 heroic points in a 3-OT loss to Gonzaga at the Maui Classic. Struggled over the first half of Big Ten play, before picking it up down the stretch. Finished the season averaging 19.1 ppg, 4.1 rpg, and 2.5 apg in 34.4 mpg. Shot 45.7% from the floor, 76.1% from the line, and 37.6% from beyond the arc

Looks good. PJ Tucker will make a great 6th man his first few years in the league. I was surprised no one picked up Brad Buckman, but Dallas has invited him to their camp.
