Terry suspended

I lied...I will comment about the officiating:

Since it's rather obvious where the talent lies in this series, the league has now done what it can to even things up.

Terry is suspended for one game......absolute nonsense.

Between that, the horrendous way the game ended last night (jump ball instead of a foul w/ Dirk shooting, jump ball instead of a time out with the wrong person jumping) it's quite obvious the league is doing what it can to stretch this into 7 games.

And let's not even start on the previous game and the BS "rim" call on what should have been a 24 second violation.

They just said it on sports center, but did not show the video. I had a feeling the NBA would try and stretch this thing to 7 games no matter what happens.

It hurts but i still have complete confidence we can win game 6.Armstrong will have to step up and play.He won't give the offense but he may keep Parker in front of him better.I have seen him ignite the Mavs before.
Other than that, we will need about 20-25 more points from Stackhouse,Daniels,Armstrong, and maybe Van Horn.

Thinking of it, maybe we should throw Stackhouse in the starting lineup to replace Terry.

Didn't you comment how interesting it was that two SA starters had fouled out, obviously citing some kind of conspiracy?

It's a horseshit cowardly move by the NBA, and you know it.

I agree, the Mavs are deep, between Stack, Daniels, Armstrong and Harris, Im not all that worried about it. We can reach deep into the bench and get production. Again unlike the spurs who dont get shit out of their bench. I also think this will only ignite a hotter fire under the mavs to put away the spurs. They are replaying the video on Sports Center right now and I cant see anything.

Yeah probably, but I haven't seen the video. But I also never claimed any conspiracy, just said it was odd.

Is Armstrong injured or just inactive?

Blame it on the Spurs, blame it on an NBA conspiracy, blame it on yadda yadda.

You need to blame it in Terry, he fucked his own team by punching someone. You outta know that shit isn't going to fly since the Det/Pacer debacle.

Have you watched the video of it yet? I just did several times on ESPN and still cant see it. I do believe its your own players blaming it on everybody but their own play in this series. I know it sucks to live in a one horse city, its going to be a long off season for ya.

Yes, because they've been so overmatched this series.

I can see it now, if the Spurs win this game it will be ALL on the NBA, and it will have to do nothing with the Mavs or Spurs play.

They just made an utterly cowardly horseshit move with this suspension. This is BS if it's on a reserve, much less a starter.

Hey, find one instance of me blaming the refs for anything in this series and I'll agree with you. This isn't Aggie football so you're out of your realm.

Since it's not a bar brawl and an NBA game, I would shove someone off me. Not ball a fist and jab at someones bag.

If Udonis got suspended for tossing a freaking MOUTHPIECE withen a 10' radius of a ref and got canned for 1 game, you knew that Terry had it coming for that shot.

The series deficit doesn't say shit for being overmatched. We both know that with the exception of 1 game, any of these games could have gone either way. It could have been 4-1 Mavs or 4-1 Spurs right now. I wouldn't say any team is overmatched.

Do you think the Pistons are overmatched by the Cavs since they're up 3-2?

Your team played well over its talent level, shot over 60%, had a home crowd, while the Mavs were off and on, had an ok night of shooting, and played on the road, and all the Spurs got out of it was a questionable one point win.

So yes, overmatched may be good word.

Ok then I can say the same about games 3 and 4. No team is overmatched in this series. Are the Mavs playing better basketball? Yeah. Does that mean the Spurs are overmatched? Hell no. Tap the brakes guys.

Do you think the Pistons are overmatched by the Cavs since they're up 3-2?
Rasheed Walace talked shit when he shouldn't have and the Cavs are feeding off of it. The Pistons aren't playing up to their talent level.

Dallas is the better team and thats why they still have the lead in this series and will win this series.

Dallas has outplayed and outcoached the Spurs. The Spurs had to resort to directly crying to David Stern about the refs to buy themselves some calls in last nights game.

Yeah, they probably are the better team, but you seem to be backpeddling off your "overmatched" claim. All because one team is playing better, doesn't mean the other is overmatched.

The only player that the Spurs have that isn't overmatched by Dallas is Tim Duncan.

Tony Parker is Devon Harris' bitch and Manu Ginobili needs to go back to playing Balki.

Between that, the horrendous way the game ended last night (jump ball instead of a foul w/ Dirk shooting, jump ball instead of a time out with the wrong person jumping) it's quite obvious the league is doing what it can to stretch this into 7 games.

And let's not even start on the previous game and the BS "rim" call on what should have been a 24 second violation.

are you talking about the jump ball between drik and bowen? that was a clean block. bowen didn't foul on that play. I would have loved the call there but the no call was correct. now the second jump ball was bs. manu fouled one of the guys he doubled teamed when he grabbed his arm then got the tip/steal.

The still shot CLEARLY showed he was all over Dirk. But then again, they let Duncan go all the way over someone, and grab body, ball, and everything else, with nothing but a jump call.

Now, on the second one, there was room for a foul call, but it shouldn't have mattered.....should been a TO.

but according to the rules if the contact is by the O player then some contact is allowed. that block was clean. the second one should have been a TO if not then a fould since the other guy came over his back. there were a few plays that duncan got fouled but no call, but there seemed to be alot with dirk being held and no call. but then again bowen has always held dirk

Parker is Harris' bitch? Have you watched any of the games? Let me throw out a few stats for this series:

Avg. Points

Parker-21.8
Harris-16 (19.25 if you throw out game 1 which he didn't start)

Assists

Parker-2.8
Harris-2.2

So how is Parker Harris' bitch? They seem pretty evenly matched to me, with TP having a slight advantage.

So once again I ask, have you watched the games?

In games 2, 3, and 4 Harris has OWNED Parker. Look at how many turnovers Parker has had in those games, plus game 5. You act like the series is tied up, but I've got bad news for you.......its not. Again, your boys are behind the 8-ball for the rest of the series. All the pressure is on them and they will crack.

Since when did Finley become such a whiney little bitch?I guess the booing in Dallas has upset him or being a Spur has rubbed off on him.
I have a feeling this suspension will light a fire under the Mavs.To you Spurs fans, this could backfire.

Ok it's pointless arguing with you. Parker had 33 points in game 4 to Harris' 18, so how is that owned. I'm still convinced you haven't watched any of the games.

And when did I act like this series is tied up? You're making some over-the-top claims like you love to do and I'm counteracting them. I think Dallas is feeling plenty of pressure themselves. Now that they're missing one of their starters and probably their most valuable player of the series, they're going to have a must win attitude because they don't want to take it back to SA.

So go ahead with your BS claim that makes no sense.
