Manu is a whiner

Why is whining about calls so prevalent with the Spurs?

Quote:
Ginobili also had figured in another call that helped doom the Spurs. He was given the first delay-of-game warning when he talked to referee Jimmy Clark about a traveling violation. Later, referee Dick Bavetta called the Spurs for a second delay, with 3:43 remaining. By rule, that called for a technical foul and a free throw, converted by Dirk Nowitzki.

"I was asking for an explanation why I traveled," Ginobili said. "(Josh) Howard was trying to steal the ball from me, so I didn't let him. Somebody else came, and I didn't let him (take the ball). I got a delay of game."
If it's not Timmay on the ref's shoulder it's Manu. Don't think I see it as much with Parker though surprisingly.

Here is the complete article.

that is why I can not stand them now ...plus they started to argue about game 2 and how it should be the late game ...

To me, clowns aren't funny. In fact, they're kind of scary. I've wondered where this started and I think it goes back to the time I went to the circus, and a clown killed my dad.

No call on Bowen or Duncan hitting the final shot and Manu's trap stays shut. Of course, then Cuban opens his big mouth about the refs and we go full circle.
I'm sick of the refs and ref talk.

If you want to see horrible officiating, watch the Cavs-Pistons series. That last game in Cleveland was one of the worst officiated games I've ever seen. Absolutely no flow to the game.

When people figure you out, start to expliot your weaknesses and you have no response, you have to blame someone. Why not blame the refs!

[Manu] Waaaaa! they're better than us, call a foul!! Waaaaaa![/Manu]

Josh wasn't trying to steal the ball. The Spurs turned it over and Josh was rightfully trying to get the ball so he could get the ball inbounds in a hurry - so the Mavs could run. Ginobli was "delaying the game" at that point. Take some responsibility Ginblome.

I think the officiating has sucked all around, in every series. There have been too many calls. They call fouls on what is really good defense. I'm a Mavs fan but I will admit that the bad calls are pretty equal between the two teams. At some point they have to let them play. Plus the games wouldn't last so long if the clock didn't stop on every pocession.

Pity that the Spurs can't deal with anyone using their talent........good thing they have friends in high places.

Their offensive gameplan is pretty simple: Drive the lane, and seek someone out to drive into, then begin flailing and wildly flopping. They look utterly confused when there is no one to flop for.

Didn't really see anyone flop last night except for Manu once on defense. But why are you guys worried all of a sudden, this was supposed to be an easy series!

I never said that. I said it'd be one helluva series after game 1, IIRC.
