Mavs in 6, possibly 7. With the caliber of these teams here, I don't think home court advantage means squat. I won't be surprised see this series 1-1 after leaving S.A. and 2-2 after leaving Dallas. It's games, 5, 6, & 7 that everyone should be glued to.

Go MAVS!

That Game 6 was incredible...Worthy missed those two FTs, we get the ball back and...can't remember his name......that weird looking googgle wearing dude from the Lakers muffs the rebound, we hurl it out blindly to 3 point land...NET!
Timeout, Otis Day's "Shout" is playing, and goes into that Ray Charles song..."I've been looking, I've been searching"...something bout it's been a long time coming........incredible game!!!!

Since we're sharing our history, I was born in 1980 and have been a Mavs fan since I started watching basketball in the late '80's. I did the Hotdogs and Hoops event at Reunion Arena for 3-4 years.

I agree with Marc on the series. I could definitely see home splits for each team.

Mavs in 6 or 7.

GO MAVS!!!

I think I remember it correctly. Didn't Aguirre ask out of the game with about 6 mins to go and then the Lakers stomped our ass. That was about the same year that the Sidekicks beat the San Diego Sockers for their first MISL soccer championship. Anyway, back to the Mavs...I remember all the good stuff...my favorite was when the Mavs beat the Celtics for the first time in franchise history. And the bad...I remember the Mavs back in the 80s blowing a 7 point lead to the Utah Jazz with only :24 left in the game. Jazz hit a 2, steal, then a 3, steal, then another 3. Game over.

Notice the caveat that Mike Wilbon used, "I'm picking them to win the first game, not the entire series yet." Its almost too close to call right now.

The way they're playing right now, it's not looking good. I have faith in them though and Avery will make them turn it on.

On another note, I agree with Jose...EVERY Mavs center has 2 fouls. Mavs up 33-30.

GO MAVS!

Oh, and I'm about to hit the sack. Been up since 8am yesterday. Gonna have to finish this one on TIVO when I get up. I just can't stay awake any longer.

Mavs up by 6. Dirk with 13 pts and 6 rebs, Howard with 14 pts and 6 rebs and Stackhouse is on fire with 13 pts. Duncan is really the only player that's sticking out with the Spurs and he has 20 pts.

The Mavs have twice the energy as the Spurs, which is expected. The Spurs are missing wide open shots that they usually make due to them looking f-ing exhausted. If the Spurs win this game I'll be surprised but I still have faith.

Mavs have had trouble shooting the ball here in the last quarter. Dallas down by 3 with less than a minute to go.

Man, huge break for Dallas there with the Ginobili miss. Mavs either have to go to Dirk or Stack here.
