Exclamation T.O. a Cowboy?

What should be a reliable source, told me an hour ago that T.O. signed a deal with the Cowboys. I can't find anything online yet, but we deal with the executives from over there alot and supply them demos.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo

If so I hope that Parsells kicks him in the jimmy.

I would make his whole contract performance ridden......and based on keeping his mouth shut.

here is latest from a site with up to the minute information

Eagles released Terrell Owens.
Who would have thought that the release of Terrell Owens would be such a non-story? Owens was due a $5 million roster bonus Wednesday and is now free to talk to teams like the Chiefs, Broncos, and Cowboys. Look for a one-year deal with incentives. Mar. 14 - 3:49 pm et

if it's a one year base with options (as in additional years possibly) that's incentive/performance driven, then great.

Well, just playing the Devil's Advocate here, if TO were to go to a team, his best bet would be to Dallas. Parcells is the only coach who could put a halt to his shinanigans (still think Parcells is a joke as a coach). TO would either be out of here faster than shit, or become a real asset to the team. Jerry Jones IS a man of taking chances. I just hope it doesn't come to that.

Me being from Philly and a huge Eagles fan, I hope the boys do get him.

Give my Eagles Defense 2 chances a year to crush Owens with some good hits. I do really dislike Owens for what he did in Philly but there is no doubt he will be a huge help to whoever he plays with. I just want to see him face my Eagles 2 times a year

And you are a damn fool if you think anyone can control Ownes. He will be on good behavior until the cloud around him settles down, then he will be back to his old ways.

all the guys parcells keeps in line have always been "parcells" guys if you will. antonio bryant, derek ross were turned loose pretty quickly after they fell out of his graces. look at larry allen, parcells can't stand the guy.

And FWIW, a big toe strain to a DB is pretty significant deal. Ditto for a WR. That's where, essentially, your center of power. Pretty debilitating if you're a WR, but if your going backward and cutting, it makes you essentially useless. Nothing to do with fighting thru it......you jsut lose several steps in coverage.

I thought it was his pinky toe that he hurt?

Cowboys released WR Keyshawn Johnson.
He was a due a roster bonus soon and was honking about a contract extension despite shaky knees. This is still a surprising move because of the lack of depth at receiver for Dallas. Johnson now gets to be a free agent for the first time. Let the T.O. rumors begin

Probably. He was due a $1 million dollar roster bonus today and so thats one reason why he got cut. He was looking to get an extension on his deal and have increased pay. He was due $1.5 million this year, which is a poultry sum when compaired to some of the other recievers in the league.

Am I the only one amused by the striking similarity between "resign" (to quit) and "resign" (to sign again)?

I dont know what to think of hte Cowboys. They did not do much in Free agency last year and this year does not seem any better. Guess they are looking to the draft again. But I think you need veteran players to complement younger players.

and I think T.O. would be bad for the Boys....no matter what T.O. Does on the field if he is allowed in the locker room all is going to hell. He had his chance in San Fran and blew it....had a huge chance in Philly and blew it.

I will laugh my ass off if they have now lost TO and apparently Keyshawn. WTF are they thinking? They will either overpay for TO (big mistake) or have virtually no receiving core now that they have cut Keyshawn.

You'd think w/some of that cap-space they would go out and sign a veteran, proven kicker. God knows they only lost 3-4 games last year by 3 points and missed field goals. You really have to question just what the fuck is going on in the think tank over there.

I was thinking the same thing. They could pick up either Vanderjagt or Vinatieri. However, they should still focus on the offensive line. We missed out on centers Bently and Mawae.

Let it go.I'm sure your team of the moment is thug free. It's been a few years since the boy's were thugged out like the sooners of the 80's. The fore skins and vikes seem to top the list lately. Name one NFL team that doesn't have some knuckle heads getting into some kind of trouble.

Still waiting on an "official" report. Only thing I've seen is some report on FoxSports.com again rumoring it was a done deal and then Rosenhaus denying it.
