TO is coming to Dallas

Just saw it on the news last night that he will most likely be signed for a 1 year deal. I personally think it would be a good idea, he has seen the what a team will do if he fux up.

Anyways, what do you ppl think?

I think it sucks. TO is cancer. Just look everywhere he has been. What kind of an effect do you think he will have on the team if he isn't happy? BTW, I have seen nothing that indicates he is coming here (for sure).

if you watched the same Channel 11 newscat I did, then it was only speculation at this point by Babe Laufenberg. However, they have a shit ton of cap room this year, so they will be making a few big moves to get some huge talent.

Chris Motenson(sp?) on the Dan Patrick show yesterday said that he could see TO going there, but that was just his thinking. Nothing solid has been said yet.

My opinion is this:

- Sign him to a 1 year deal for the league minimum and then throw in incentives for games played, catches, yards, TD's, and if they make the playoffs/SuperBowl.

- He would only be allowed to speak to the media with Bill Parcels alongside.

- He apologizes to the fans of Dallas for his behavior in past games here.

If we can get that, then I'm all about it beacuase he is one of, if not the best reciever in the league.

Why? Dallas needs a 3rd reciever because they only have Keyshawn Johnson and Terry Glenn as viable starters.

Terrance Copper and Patrick Crayton aren't going to cut it.

Im a Cowboy fan more than I hate TO. With that said, if he can come in here and possibly give the Cowboys a chance to make it deep in the playoffs then im his biggest fan.

I heard there were some complications with Keyshawn's contract to where we would have to pay him a buttload this next year. Because of that, there are talks that Cowboys might very well go for TO since they may be trying to offload Keyshawn because of his contract.

Fuck it, lets use his big ass to steam roll our way to an NFC east title.
He and Donovan McNabb hate each other. By playing for the boys, he'll be able to jack up the Eagles twice a year. I think alot of Dallas fans who actually care about winning won't give a damn if TO suits up for Parcells. Face it, the man is just stupid dominant at the position.

Also, this is all just speculation. The thread title makes this sound like it's an absolute thing, while none of this has even been mentioned by anyone in the Cowboys organization.

I think his best years might be behind him. I don't think he is worth the risk unless he goes by SvtVenom's rules.

Not A Cowboy Fan But...

Like Jerry said; TO can sleep on the Star if he want's to.

TO = 10 wins + a real shot at the Superbowl - Not KJ-PC- these guys are #3's at best. Think about it for a second, TO-JW-TG that's a nice group.

Crayton will eventually be a #2 WR at best in the NFL.
Next years draft will be nice to take a WR in the 1st

Nah. Look at Barry Bonds, a little syringe full of horse hormones in the ass every month will keep him movin. T.O. is a revenge type of guy. Trust me he's been training hard ever since his dismissal from Philly. His hate fuels him. Well that and the roids....

Thats what I was thinking. A bit premature to be celebrating or panicking. Personally, I hope he comes to the cowboys. As a niner fan, I'm well aware of how destructive he is to a team. Why anyone thinks he's going to clean up his act with yet another change of venue is beyond me.

Well, the thing is that now EVERYBODY has their eyes on him and they know what he can cause. So, I don't think anybody will want to sign him for a long contract and they probably will be ready to give him the boot at the sign of any problems.

You're a assistant coach on the cowboys? If so hook it up with some 50 yard line tickets

If the Cowboys are able to do what I suggested it would be perfect for them. If it works out then they got a hell of a deal on a badass football player. If not, they don't lose that much towards the cap and can just cut him.

It would be great if TO comes here but we also have to have a Good QB to get him the ball. Bledsoe is good for the first half of the season but he sucks it up the last half. So the cowboys will probably have the same record as last year or they might make the playoffs but wont past the first round

Thats why Dallas needs to cut their losses with Drew Bledsoe who is in the twilight of his career and go after Drew Brees, who could become a great franchise QB for the Cowboys. He's also a Texas native.

The Cowboys are going to have to realize that they are going to have to go after youth to win. They'll definately give up the experience Bledsoe has, but how long does he really have left? Brees could be here for a good 8-9 years.
