why not? Steve Nash is the the leader of that crew & they defiently were hurting without him last night.

Are you kidding??!! He's the ENTIRE key to that team. The offense just plain doesn't run the same without him. True a win is a win no matter who's on the floor, but the Suns are severely crippled without Nash.

Not only was Nash out...but his backup, Leandro Barbosa was out too.

And the Spurs are losing to the Lakers by 14 at halftime tonight. What excuse can I come up with for the Spurs?

Is it that they played just last night? Nope. Nobody on the Spurs team played more than 32 minutes of the game. Hopefully the Lakers hold on.

Game over. Lakers won 100-92. Lakers had a well balanced attack tonight with 5 players scoring in double figures. Duncan was held to 12 points and no other Spur had more than 16 (Fin).

Mavs are back in 1st for now.

Does anybody really want to play the lakers 1st round? When Kobe is on and he has some help to boot, they are dangerous. They are gonna be a scary #8 seed.

It's funny that everyone brings up Nash being out, because they still don't have Amare. Just wait til he gets back.

We leave the excuses to the Mav fans.

Typical Mav fan: "We would have won if _______ wasn't hurt"

No excuses here, the Spurs just plain suck in the 2nd game of back to back games. I think they're 4-10 now in those games.

They're moving up. As of today, they're the #7 seed...although it's not really due to their awesome play. Some teams in front of them have been sucking lately.

As it stands, the Mavs would draw the N.O./OKC Hornets right now.

I'm gonna throw this one (2nd night of a back to back) up for tomorrow night's game vs. Sacramento. Dallas struggled tonight with yet more injuries. Hopefully we can get JHo back for tomorrow night's game...otherwise I think it'll be a long night. Sacramento has been playing very well lately - they have something like an 11 game home winning streak. I'll be very surprised if Dallas can pull it out tomorrow night.

Artest has really meshed with the team (go figure). Should be interesting tonight. Back to back games, players out with injuries, etc.

A little more than half of remaining games of the season is spent on the road, I think 11 of 19 games. Hopefully they can pull out more victories and remain on top of the Spurs.
